I think I recognised the woman who took Tom's photo. She is last years winner of the local Scarecrow Festival whereby residents on the Ringwood to Hurn road display scarecrows in their driveways. I suspect she will triumph again this year - unless, of course, another competitor bases their entry on The Shore Hunter Wayne Hand.
Our dear Henry Gilbey doesn’t care what he looks like when he’s fishing, often looks like the invisible man. Doesn’t stop heart attacks though, good luck HG. Another great video 👍
It's just a tilt adjust rod rest head, with a long enough thread to go through the hole on the station, then secured in place with a nut. One of those "wish I'd done that years ago" things! Lol 😆
Enjoyed that Tom. Loved fishing of the groyne, hopefully it'll be repaired & open again. Any reason for the two different rods? it's setting my carp fisherman ocd on edge 😁
Just needed a slightly stronger rod for dragging things out the reef, then a lighter one for my pop ups on the edge of the reef. Two different rods for two different jobs.
Ah the Messiah returns! I hope given the lack of videos you’ve got the excuse of getting the outside of the house finished 😂. Cracking video mate enjoyed that one! Handling skills like that we need you at 2nd slip. I’ll be down for a Southbourne sesh soon 👌
I remember fishing down my local river when a Chinese family passing asked if they could take some pics.... I said it wasn't a problem but they weren't interested in me... Just took pics of my tubs of maggots 🤣
Hi mate. I don't usually bother with the long walk in the winter months. There's not that much to catch up there that you won't catch on a shorter walk!
Totally agree, recently had 3 Basel cell carcinoma cut out of my back and one removed from my forehead. I now wear all sorts of funny looking hats and clothing to keep the sun off me. So people heed the advice and cover up !!! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻
While I don’t disagree with the advice given about taking protection against the sun I do wonder why it didn’t seem such a big deal before sun cream was commercially available. As far as I’m aware their wasn’t huge numbers of skin cancer deaths back then so what’s changed? Our diet perhaps? Sun cream has only been commercially available since the mid nineteen hundreds
Excellent video again fella and some fish can't argue with that an enjoyable session 👍
Fish and no wind and rain. That's a win win 😁
Awesome mate 👍 you should get a few pink hats made like that! Christchurch angling specials 👌
🤣 don't tempt me
Good advice Tom on covering up when the sun is Beaming 👍And enjoyed watching the video

Thanks bud. 👍
Welcome back Tom as per usual a great watch 🎣
Thanks mate

Nice one Tom, enjoyable little flick pal 👍
Thanks bud. Hope you're keeping well and catching plenty.
Damm right about looking after yourself in the sun and as always a brilliant video
Thanks mate. Simple advice, but too often ignored in this country.
Very engaging video, as always, Tom.
Thank you mate
Tom, good to see you back, can you send me what type of rod holder you have got fixed to your bait tray when you get a chance, please

Great video mate, please try and do more if you have chance , tight lines 🎣🐟
I will matey.
Love your videos Tom, and like the blue t shirt. Do you sell them in the shop.
Thanks mate. Yes, got a few t-shirts in at the moment.

🤣🤣 I'd be ok in the slips if they chuck fish at me!
Look forward to seeing you soon bud.

🤣🤣 Good to know you're less interesting than maggots hey.
Hi Tom, thinking of doing down there on Sunday, is it any good in the winter, never fished there before
Hi mate. I don't usually bother with the long walk in the winter months. There's not that much to catch up there that you won't catch on a shorter walk!
@@christchurchanglingcentre5428 we were just going to park in the car park and fish near there, not bother with the long walk
Yeah, that's a sensible choice. We fished Southbourne Monday evening with good results.
Thanks Tom, I tried southbourne a month or so ago, again for the first time, managed one whiting 😂
I've been pondering about a session at Hengistbury. Whats the best email to reach you/the shop on?
christchurchanglingcentre@gmail.com
Only £947,000 to park, a snip 🤣
That's what i only do three sessions a year. Eats into the savings otherwise.
🤣🤣🤣

We're so bad at covering up in this country, we need a whole change of mindset I think. Wishing you all the best mate. 🙏

Another great video. I might have to stop watching because it costs me a small fortune in online tackle orders from you each time
🤣🤣 keep watching... watch it twice in fact
I love sessions like that. No people getting in the way, and no dogs peeing all over my gear or trying to eat my bait.
It's a rare treat!
