- Earlier this month my friend Darcy Sanders posted a video project where she created an envelope from music paper, this inspired me to finally create some envelopes from a stash of white music paper I got free in one of my charity shop hauls.

Hi Ceri. Lovely as usual. There were a few where I was screaming (in my mind) "leave it Ceri! Don't add anything!" I was seeing fall leaves in some and flowers in others. 😂 But you made your marks anyway ... and they turned out great. TFS Hope you have a great day. 🌞
For the first time in over 10 years I’ve felt JOY! I was an abstract artist and had a horrible injury while being a special Education Teacher. Watching you using multiple types of mark making and paints, dyes, etc. This has brought joy to my heart. Thank you!!!!

Thanks for another great video Ceri, your envelopes turned out really well. I tried an interesting thing with my silicon mat, I don't have texture plates so I got a piece of paper, dampened it and pressed it into my silicon mat and I had a beautiful textured piece of paper, your industrial mat would make an amazing piece of texture paper. Thank you also for an amazing year of arty adventures, I hope you and Biscuit have a wonderful Christmas.🎄

@@CeriGriffiths i thought so. Unfortunately my Studio is in the heart of the house and no doors. So like when you have a toddler, everything out of reach. Plus one of my dogs enjoys lay down on any paper is falling from my desk so, you can imagine 😁if not for them certainly yours is a good method😁
This process is fun and efficient. We. An use paints almost out or that we do not like as much as we thought and also paper we're not exactly sure what to do with. The envelope that ended up upside down looked to be oozing with rich honey like a honeycomb. Blessings, Ceri! 😊 ♡X

Hi I have just subscribed to you after watching you upcycle Christmas cards. I like the way you present but also because you are in Wales ! As am I😊. My husband is a conductor. He was taking out the trash: 5 stacks of music scores. The paper is 11x17. Luckily, I happened to see him walk by the door. So we just moved trash from his office to my craft room.

Hi Ceri - Thanks for all your fab videos - I love them all - particularly the 'master-boards' - and I am using now a 'credit card' for all my glue-stick works and it is perfect - ALSO wanted to give you a little tip - HOBBYCRAFT is selling their own make of glue-sticks (Value/Craft) for £1 for 3x sticks (small 8g - medium 11g - large 21g) in a pack - and they are great. I purchased 5 or 6 packs as they will go up in price - because they are NEW out and have an introductory price (I think) - great value for money and great glue - better than many others - and I have used Pritt Stick as well before. Hope you will give them a go.

Sandy I got mine in a hardware store, I believe they are the ceramic tiles used for bathrooms.
Hi Ceri! Question! But first, thank you for this great resource. I have watched many of your videos and enjoy them immensely. I watched one last night on gel printing for beginners. I had never heard of it before. I have a question though.....what are the pros and cons of gel printing versus this video's content of ceramic printing? Looking forward to your answer!

Tamara I believe you can do so many more techniques with a gel plate however I’ve not fully explored the ceramic tile possibilities.

Deborah I just use my completed glue books as a source of inspiration. I very often flick through for the enjoyment of looking at the images.

Just a suggestion. If u rinse your acrylic paint brushes, put that dirty water into a large jar, let it stand in the sun, when the water has evaporated, peel the paint and try to safely dispose of that with garbage.
Love hearing you say that you make journals because you like to and not to sell. Someone I know bugs me by asking...how much can you get for this??? I just love being my own designer!
Do not put polluting substances down storm drains😫they often go to waterways and poison animals and plants. Wait for the acrylics to dry, peel off with a plastic card , and put in the trash. We all live down stream, water is a precious resource. I live in a high desert in the USA- water is precious. Thanks to you and your fans for this terrific content.

I have to tell you a joke about 'instinct'. There was a mother skunk who had identical twins named IN and OUT which nobody could tell apart because when In was in, Out was out and Out was out, In was in. Someone asked the mother skunk how SHE could tell them apart to which she responded ... IN stinked. I do wish I had your instinct as to color combinations. I'm hopeless when it comes to combining colors. I have no instinct in that area, but I do like to copy those people who do. Thank you again.
