Just found this channel. I’m about 5months into hobby with 75 mixed reef. No sump, just hang on back emperor 400, gyre250, and ATI T5 hybrid fixture (with no LED yet). Im taking it slow and learning a lot from those sharing their creativity and experience on youtube. I have aspirations for finish-the-basement + reef tank upgrade. Plan on repurposing my 75 as sump or refugium section to larger display. It’s been great catching up on what you’ve shared over the years slowly expanding your system. Seems like there’s hope for me. Very nice! I run 4 Kessils 360s with a Aquatic Life fixture. I also am in education (high school counselor) and have been enjoying being home to tweak the things in needed to get the tank running better.
You could decrease the whites on the Kessils until you change bulbs if you want more blue spectrum. Great coral growth-gotta start fragging those basketballs!
can you repeat/explain what you inserted thru the holes in the side of the fixture? i'd like to do this with my ATI 6-bulb fixture and maybe remove 2 T5 bulbs and put the kessil's there?
@@terranncegilmore looks fantastic!!! i'm trying to figure out how to put two kessils in my 6-bulb ATI T5. But i'm afraid to drill a hole thru the top of it! i am trying to figure out a bracket/idea i could use to angle my Kessil 360s from the front side of the ATI silver fixture. like maybe get a piece of alluminum and drill into the front of the fixture and bend it down a bit and attach the 360s. if you have any engineering thoughts let me know!!! =)
@@lisademayo8589 I once modded an 8 bulb T5 fixture for Radions by removing the inner bulbs. Maybe remove the inner two bulbs and hand the Kessils in between
@@terranncegilmore Hmm. Do you happen to remember on the ATI, if one bulb is removed, the other bulb in the channels wont work? Is it like a circuit? I cant remember and i can't reach my bulbs without a stepstool. lol

how do you get it to run a lunar cycle after the lighting schedule? will that promote more algae growth?
I hate the white also, just 4 blue plus, or 4 giesmann blue bulbs are even better!, quarantine is fantastic!,!
Is that a dwarf Angel (lower middle of the tank at around 2:14)?
There is a Potter's angel and a Flame Angel in the tank
