I was sceptical and annoyed at the reveal announcement, but that keynote took me by surprise. I had no idea they were going this far to improve the sim, i expected basically FS20 with missions. Seb has said that the new wear and tear will allow aircraft to get weathered/dirty! I am very relieved about how compatibility with current addons is such a high priority for all this new tech, I am sure we all feared the prospect of re-buying everything again, or waiting years for existing stuff to be updated. I am curious how multiplayer and ATC will be improved. Currently model/livery matching is a bit rough, so I wonder if they have figured out a solution for doing that with 3rd party addons. ATC definitely needs improvem[PLEASE EXPEDITE YOUR CLIMB TO 350 ATC SERVICES TERMINATED]
That please expedite your climb part really hit home for me, lol. So irritating. But yeah they're slowly convincing a lot of us that this wont be some kind of minor upgrade. Looking very promising.
I think after the initial shock has worn off since the trailer came out of nowhere, we had time to gather a bit more information about it and I must say it started to spark my interest. Not anywhere near hype level, I keep my expectations ... well, not low, not low at all. I stay level headed and watch this play out from afar. When it comes out, I wait for a couple of weeks, maybe even a month or two to see proper reviews and the guinea pig crowds reaction while eating popcorn.
One thing I never liked about MSFS was Multiplayer. FSX did it so much better, with a ground radar, tower view...was great fun with just a couple of friends..but it was sucked out in MSFS. So, unless that's addressed..I'm not interested
modern people: react to an ANNOUNCEMENT trailer as if its a full technical overview. and get mad. developers: forced to start trickling out some more info to calm down the seething idiots who have forgotten what the words of one of the most common languages on earth actually mean. modern people: wow now that I've not started shouting and seething at a simple announcement and actually have some info, it actually looks not all that bad. never change 2023 people, never change. what is English anyway right?

Thanks for making this, ED
No prob, glad you enjoyed it.
9:40 That would take way too much work to model every ship. I don't expect it.

That would be a cool feature to add. Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but I think this would make multiplayer a crap load of fun.
@@RandomEd787 It would...cos at the moment, Multiplayer is pretty much no fun at all
