Literally just 2 days ago I wax contemplating a purchase, laptop was £1699 at Overclockers and £1749 at Currys on special offer (16GB RAM / 512GB SSD / i7-12800HX / 3070 Ti variant). Pretty much the same price as the gen6 H variant. Had been at this price for a few days prior too and maybe longer. Still decided to sleep on it. Woke up yesterday morning to a rude awakening - at both retailers it had been bumped upto £2099 and £2149. Gutted! No idea how long now to wait for when it reappears on offer and after seeing more vids on this laptop, feeling lost having not pulled the trigger on the purchase.

Make sure you raise the back of the laptop. you'll get better results on thermals, but this thing runs hot
That is cuz the cpu is pulling up absurd amount of power, if u see his gameplay, its p chill, below 80c

It’s Lifted , and 75-80c is the ideal range for a gaming laptop and it’s running really well

mine gets heat up very quicky even for watching videos on youtube or when its charging i can feel the heat , this is not playing games any solutions for that

@@WhereToFind means only 3 hours for general tasks on auto mode when do gaming it will be just 1 hour that's so bad what's about performance throttle during gaming or it's heat management?
@@AliZamin temps are displayed in the video. stays around 75-80c. and thats on auto mode, if i turn on quiet mode and turn down other things i can probably push to about 4-5 hours. and lets be real, no one is gaming on battery for 1 hour. lol

@@AliZamin yep display is 500 nits and speakers are nice and loud, they drown out the fans if they get loud.

@@armenadilkhanyan it’s a 2500x1600 screen. Not sure about full Hd. Intel is alwyas gonna pull more power than AMD . If you’re looking for battery life go for amd. If you’re looking for performance , intel

@@Whiplashxyz I bought the full AMD version for Ryzen 7 6700m in battery life if you disconnect the discreet GPU and put the fan on quiet and put the refresh rate to 60 hertz and don't do as much heavy traffic light tasks I got about 4-5hrs but again your hours may vary
