Unboxing new KM-18 Mallet & Thoughts on KMWWDF #PROJECTBUILDUP
This video was meant to be a short Instagram Story, but after reviewing the footage, I felt it was important to share the whole thing. Disabilities come in many forms and degrees of severity and its inspiring to see an organization doing its part to empower a community to support each other.

New Hand Tool Wall | Shop Changes
Переглядів 348Рік тому
Check out my new hand tool wall! This has been one of those projects that I've always wanted to do, but it was never a good time to get into it. I decided to go into it without a detailed plan (which is NOT my style) and just kind of wing it on all the tool holders. I'm very happy with how it turned out so far and I still plan to add some edge trim and a lower cabinet bank with a narrow work to...

The LAST Respirator You'll Ever Need | JSP Powercap Active
Would be interesting to compare against a more budget PAPR device that could be within the means of a homegamer
Sounds a bit loud
Great, now my brain will vibrate also I'll be deaf and also ill be breathing water vapour. Nice.
Would this work against metal dust? I'm specifically thinking about knife grinding. Thanks!
Our club uses this model all the time. We have been using this for over 5 years. Great product.
How much does it cost?
How'd it go
❤
After 30 yrs in plastics moulding and now welding 3 full days a week, a powered respirator is the only way to go no matter the manufacturer 👍👍👍
Ein Traumhaftes Video, aber eine Frage hätte ich , kann man Pläne oder Skizzen bekommen - kaufen ?
This is amazing work! I aspire to get to this level one day :D
I have tried to love wooden-armed chairs. They’re beautiful, this is no exception. But they are so uncomfortable, I don’t understand why anyone would want one other than as decoration.
Safe for epoxy?
No, this unit is only for dusts. It does not protect against vapors of any kind. Peke and 3M make more expensive versions that provide protection against both.
KM tools are great. I have a couple of the dovetail jigs. I've recently been thinking of getting his router plane to replace my old Stanley 71.
Thanks for the link to buy this it was 549.00 free shipping. I've been trying to buy one of these for a month or so from several videos. Axminster sells them over the pond And JSP only sells to distributors. To me their making a mistake not selling these online but oh well . Yes there expensive but a good motorcycle helmet is 400.00 -900,00 so i guess it depends what is important. hopefully the motor fan noise isn't too bad but i use noise canceling earbuds. Again thanks n happy woodworking.
When will the update be ???
Can you wear your glasses under the mask?
I’ve been looking for something suitable for concrete grinding. Do you know if this would work?
Thoughts after 8 months?
wondering the same!
@@Nettle314 almost bought one last month.
Do you feel like you bonk your head on the filters
Beautiful job. I just started building one myself... I was wondering where you sourced your cushions from?
Thank you! I had the cushions made by someone local. These specific plans from Foureyes Furniture came with dimensions for the cushions. I just needed to modify them a bit to match the modifications I made to the chair plans. Best of luck with your project, I'm sure it'll turn out great.
@Stone Wall Woodcraft Thanks. yeah, I bought the plans... but looking online, custom cushions are not cheap. Was hoping you found a "off the shelf" fit.
I'm hoping to find something like that for future chair builds. If you have any luck I'd love to hear about it.
It looks like it’s not available in the US.😢
Love the clean look of the tool wall! Wish I have that much space to hang my stuff.
Thanks for checking it out! I got very lucky with this shop space. It certainly wasn't part of the criteria when we were moving here. 🤣
Fun looking project and great that you involved the kiddo as well :) have a sub, you deserve it.
Very much appreciated! I love when she wants to get involved in a project.
Bless you, brother. 💪💪💪
Thank you for the support! 👍🏽👍🏽
Great to see people giving back to their community so more people can be part of this great community.
Gotta support our own!
Liking the new video style shop progress looks good too
Thanks Mike! I think I'm starting to find a style I like 🤷♂️
As the kids these days say, that tool wall is straight FIRE, Mike.
Thanks Devon 😂. I'll be sure to update when the rest of its complete!
Awesome
You two are so cute together!
Love the story!!!
Love this!!
Awesome
Love the shop sounds!!
My favourite music 🎶
Wow
Thanks for watching!
I wish I was more patient. I bought an entire set of Groz planes. I'm going to slowly sell them off and upgrade to a Veritas set over time.
I have no experience with Groz but I can tell you Veritas is worth the trouble. I wanted to start with the essentials and start building the collection over time as well.
This made my night. Best job in the world is being a dad.
I appreciate the comment. The moments I get to spend in the shop with her are so precious. It won't be long before her little sister is ready to start learning the basics too!
Wow very nice!
Thanks for watching! 🙌🏼
Good time to count your fingers and find a new way
I came to my senses and glued it to a larger plank that could ride along the fence safely.
😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂
Yikes that’s a close one!
Lessons were learned 😂
I think I really like it and wish I had that much space on a wall to do something g similar.
Thanks for watching! I'll admit I got very lucky with this shop space. 😂
I love these tools 👍🏻
Such a simple concept with so many useful applications! I keep one just for glue squeeze-out removal.
Is this new? How have I never even known of this
They're great in many applications and super inexpensive!
has to be a more ergonomic way to hold thag lol
The even pressure applied by your thumbs on the backside is what makes the card scraper so effective. Does kinda suck after a while though 😂
Awesome content Mike. I’m going to have to get one of those boards!
Thanks for watching! One of my boards would be perfect for your fireside cooking.
@@stonewallwoodcraft exactly what I was thinking lol.
Whoa! Love the look of those chairs too.
Did you see them??
Great edge profile, even with the ‘mistake’ turned one of a kind feature
I'm glad you like it!
How's the mask been so far? Did you get it shipped to Canada or did you pop over the border? Thanks for the video🍻
It's been great so far. I've been using it quite a bit lately and I'm very happy with it. If I had to say something negative, it's quite tight on my head and I wear a size 8 ball cap. I got it shipped to Canada because I'm about 5hrs from the border. Thanks for watching! I'll be posting an actual review once I've used it a while longer
Great Videos!!
Thanks Ethan! Appreciate you checking it out.
