Those “Unreleased” Sandman are not unreleased or prototypes. I had one of those when I was kid. I still remember it because I broke it and some little plastic balls hurt me in my eyes. It was kinda common actually, at least here in Mexico.
@@creamfreshHey man love your channel it is awesome and nostalgic please keep continuing what you doing we truly appreciate it! ❤️💯🕷️🕸️ Which you also be interested in posting other pre MCU/DCEU nostalgic merchandise?!
I hated the spiderman 3 figures when they came out because they weren't 7 inch, they were 5 inches so they didn't play well with other figures. and they were not that detailed. i had the venom figure though. They did release it at KB toys. He had a waist spring gimmick when you squeezed his legs together.
Wow what are the odds that I bump into this video in my feed! I'm the one that bought this figure on ebay. Have it bunched up with my other rare in box figures like the half red half blue figure, the SDCC 2010 figure, the wrestler quick change Spidey, the pizza scooter Spidey, and more. I can feel free to send you pics if you'd like.
There were shiny Walmart exclusives made of red/blue Spidey, black Spidey, and Venom. This figure and the other one in Cobalt Blue's video appear to be prototypes of the Symbiote Takeover Spider-Man that ended up being a repaint of the black Spider-Man and was a K-Mart exclusive. The Walmart cards were the same silver packaging. I have prototypes of the original unreleased Symbiote Spider-Man which was a different mold and featured a level that moved Symbiote slime around a translucent chest.
You should check out some pitch concepts from Ben Torres for some Hasbro Spider-Man Raimi figures that most were never realized. There were even other heroes like Daredevil and Captain America to be made into figures, a SM3 video game inspired Scorpion figure, and a hybrid Sandman/Venom figure.
And then there was this large ass symbiote set that could be covered with ooze. It seems they split this idea into two sets, the Spider-Man vs Symbiote and 10 inch oozing Venom.
Hey cream that venom figure with the Eddie brock head .one of my neighbors when I used to live in California had that figure painted and everything I always liked the movie so when I seen it I thought it was a variant or something because I had almost all the spider man 3 5 inch figures the only reason I knew him was because i was friends with his son and the dad used to work for hasbro or something but I remember grabbing it and wondering where he got it but he told me that it was a figure that never was officially released he told me I could have have it because he had no use for it but I said no because I didn’t want to seem greedy he kept in the box and everything at first I thought he painted it but he told me that the figure he had was a pro-to type I remember the paint job to it had grey/silver web lines and the figure looked like it was screaming and the face was being stretched out by the symbiote he also came with 1 web thing like the ones the other venom figures came with just wanted to share this because to let you know to have some closer on that figure
I have this figure. It was in a large collection of Spider-Man 3 figures that had multiples of the limited edition black costume Spider-Man and Venoms. The guy wasn't a former Hasbro employee, so I don't know where he got it from, and he didn't have any idea about it. I have kept it in storage for the last eight years or so. Maybe I will get it signed by Sam Ramini later this year.

Yea it's definitely possible it was released in other countries and not the US.

Imagine your a casual eBay seller and your listing becomes the topic of a UA-cam video

Looking at this toy, I'm experiencing something weird. I feel like I might have seen this toy at a target back in 07.
The Perfect Spider-Man Video, Released On My Birthday.
This listing had me going crazy
Was so close to buying it but the seller took it down😔
Sold*
I wonder if he sold it on another platform or not online because it doesn't say sold, it just says ended.
