Throughout this video, you may have seen me sprinkle in some artwork of marvel characters that have a similar art style to the spectacular Spider-Man. These artworks were created by Sean Galloway, who was incredibly influential when it came to the art style of the series, so you can majorly credit him for being the most important artistic influence for the show. His contributions to the series artistic development however, also means that his illustrations of other marvel characters gives us a rough idea of how they'd look within the Spectacular Spider-Man universe. Although, it is worth noting that these aren't official work for the series and more made for fun or created for completely separate marvel projects. It's also important to note, that these designs in no way reflect how they’d look like if they did hypothetically appear in the series but they still give us a very loose look at the wider spectacular Spider-Man universe. I honestly prefer a show ending on a cliffhanger like this one did as opposed to 2011's ThunderCats where either one more episode or film was all that was needed
The only shared animated universe before this was the 90sverse, and the newer marvel shows on Disney XD were just created out of corporate greed. The Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers EMH being a shared universe would've most likely been the most comic accurate and expansive since it was connected to Wolverine & The X-Men as well@@MarvNARK
I wonder how different Spectacular Spider-Man would be if it actually took place in the same world as Emh, Wolverine and the X-Men and some of the other marvel animated movies
It would have been no different than how Spider-Man ended up in Avengers EMH given that every time characters from one Marvel animated show crosses over into another, a certain amount of their portrayal and/or costumes is unnecessarily altered or theres serious retcons. The Wolverine & The X-Men cartoon and Hulk vs films are said to be all related in the same universe as Avengers EMH and you can see how that looks. I thought it was fun to share this fact but in Spider man: the new animated series, it calls out that both iron man, the fantastic four and the xmen are in his universe, additionally micheal Clarke Duncan(who played kingpin in the 2003 daredevil movie) voiced the character in the show.
@@WarpingFist yup, one last fun fact: the x men evolution show had a Christmas special that made a Easter egg of spider man in the newspaper that angel reads, Captain America and wolverine did s team up in a flashback(similar to how the 90s show did), hulk was referenced(however he technically only appeared in wolverine and the x mens) and Nick fury and shield was one of the big antagonists.
I see a lot of comments on this video of people saying they hope Spectacular Spider-Man gets a revival after the success of X-Men '97, and while I totally agree and would also love that, I unfortunately don't think that's likely. If anything I think it's more likely we'll be getting a revival of Spider-Man: The Animated Series since it's also from the '90s and even shares a universe with X-Men: The Animated Series and X-Men '97. Even that is unlikely though since the head of Marvel Animation stated that they're not currently interested in making more revivals and want to focus solely on X-Men '97, and will most likely bring in other characters from older series through cameos and guest appearances like the ones we got in the first season of X-Men '97. There's also the fact that Marvel Animation already has a Spider-Man show, "Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man", in the works right now which is an alternate universe spin-off with ties to the MCU. I just don't see Marvel and Disney launching two complete different and totally separate Spider-Man shows at the same time like that, despite what fans want. The Spiderman and Human Torch crossover idea actually sounds like it might’ve been true As it would be a nice nod to the 2000s Ultimate Spider-Man game where he races the torch Both the game and Spectacular Spider-Man are based largely on the Ultimate Spider-Man comic series
What’s makes this all a mess is that Drake Bell was Spider-Man in EMH to set up Ultimate Spider-Man but then Ultimate Spider-Man and the other cartoons it shared a universe with weren’t even in continuity with EMH. And even though I would like Spectacular Spider-Man to be in the EMH universe, what gets in the way of that is the Vault being different in both cartoons. I wouldn’t want any of these marvel cartoons from this era to be in separate universes. I remember there's some old news where they comment on avengers assemble being a continuation to emh but then they changed I think after the success of the first avengers film. I honestly prefer Spider-Man as a standalone character, or at least have his shared universe very limited so Spidey only teams up with other street-level heroes and only fights street-level villains so no Avengers, no X-Men, no Fantastic Four, no SHIELD, no Guardians of the Galaxy, and none of their respective enemies. That's the reason I love Spectacular Spider-Man so much, it only focuses on Spider-Man, his own supporting cast, his own enemies, and his own problems making the rest of Marvel Universe so irrelevant that it's not even mentioned.
Marvel heroes doesn’t care Spider-Man, they’re better than him, so I care Spiderman, and in my fanfic is “Spiderman Legendary”
They need to bring it back
Почему это видео у меня в рекомендациях? Любил этот мульт про человека паука в детстве, один из лучших мультсериалов!
С любовь из России :3
Also in my headcanon spectacular spider-man along with other avengers earth’s mightiest heroes and wolverine and the x-men are in their own universes in my opinions
I actually would love it if Spectacular had a shared universe with other Marvel Heroes
Were just gonna have to imagine the possibility.
They could explore miles morales, the fantastic four , daredevil cameo and many more
4:47 hit me hard 😭 sure I miss spectacular more, but this show....
I'd bring Avengers back over Spectacular tbh.
@@WarpingFist but since EMH was supposed to be part of a expansive universe, wouldn't it just feel more incomplete from a story telling point? Where as Spectacular could focus on a single narrative.
@@theromanticavacodo Oh right, I didn't even consider that
@@WarpingFist I'm glad they didn't include any other characters, because then they had more room to flesh our apideys. The only characters I could potentially see working are the FF and Daredevil
we want an xmen 2000 video about the unused concept arts of the movie
Funny you say that because I've been thinking to make a video like that for a while. Soonish I guess.
@@WarpingFist I can't wait for it and don't forget the other movies
@@WarpingFistif you need to find conceptual art for that film go into the special features DVD of the film. There’s a ton of production material on that thing
I should watch the show, I grew up with the 90s Marvel cartoons so my Spider-Man is from the animated series
could the spectacular spider-man return someday?
so Disney ruined literally everything.... its so over
0:32 what show?
Thor tales of asgard
Wiseman seems to be a bit too ambitious with this project.
Do thing the show has flaws like with Venom villain arc is is flaw because he know that Pater is Spider Man the guy who save them from the Lizard and didn’t abandoned them to make a paper.
Im watching this instead of studying for my final tmrw 😂
I'm your teacher joe, you get an F
You telling me this man was trying to give us the same childhood as the dummy’s that watched the Batman animated series?????? BUT WIT SPIDEY ???? And we HAVE THE 90s to deal with??? I hate that this series never happened.
This show and marvels earth mightiest avengers should’ve been brought back … not x-men 97 !
Honestly I would have preferred Peter sticking with Gwen in the series.
Sony Pictures Entertainment still owns Spider-Man
not the TV rights I believe
@@WarpingFistWho did you want him to end up with?
What could’ve been😢
🗣️They're not beating Goku!
Most of everything that the spider verse has to offer is immortality and incredibly homosex. That's why acouple of straight people who worked at marvel at the time had to branch off and tried to make a none gay version of spiderman hence "venom"
Please make video about lost Sinister Six movie or The Amazing Spider-Man 3 with Venom
I technically already did the ladder ua-cam.com/video/EgyL7aNKFv4/v-deo.htmlsi=xydhndxxa9IZ082x
