Thuong looks very pro with the bike packing gear and the way she rides! I hope she looks back fondly on the whole tour. I know she found the Vietnamese heat hard in places. Tours are interesting with so many highs and lows. The highs do nearly always make up for it. That was extra hot though, well done both.
It’s good to see you guys making progress on your adventure. I especially like how you are able to pan the camera to show the sights and sounds as you are riding. It’s neat to see the changing scenery. It’s too bad those truck drivers blare their horn as they pass by. I can’t stand that. Also, I hope you find out the cause of your bike’s mystery click. Let us know when you find out! Good luck to you both!
Cruise, I'm glad you're finally following Thuong's lead & inserting some music over your B-roll. 👍 No need to narrate everything. Looking strong on Day 5.
@@GordoGambler baby steps for the channel. I agree it wasn't great but still seemed better than him having to talk throughout the entirety of the video.
If you come to Hanoi, you can service your bike at Chain 6 Bike work (No. 2, Alley 192, Giai Phong Street, Phuong Liet, Thanh Xuan, Ha Noi). It's a very good place, and the staff speaks English.
Wow what a way to explore the wonderful Vietnam . I just returned from my holiday for Saigon , Hoi An and Danang and Hanoi . I’m in love with this country. Especially Danang !!!
@@vietnamtravelguide2537I understand. You worked hard all day and then didn’t get a good nights sleep. But you still got on your bike for another challenging ride. Well done!
What an advantage it is to have Thoung. Not only does she know the language and culture, but if it is true that foreigners are always charged more, she saves the two of you money. It looks like she always does the buying. I strongly suggest the Garmin Varia radar. I always use mine. Ride safely and keep the entertaining videos coming.
A hotel room without any available soap, how perfectly disgusting ! Everything is likely is likely to be contaminated and you are lucky you did not get gastroenteritis or worse. The rubbing alcohol helped , but it is always wiser to carry some small travel toiletries with you. Loved the unexpected waterfall and the green hills, but you can tell that you are by now pretty tired and looking forwards to the end of the journey. It is great to see too, how well matched you are.
Cruise, Another nice video. Thank you for your insight on the "sleeper" buses. I had concerns about their safety for passengrs when I first heard about them. I bet the drivers are under a lot of pressure to get to the destination and stops on time and drive aggressively to meet those times. Pretty sad to see that burned out bus still on the side of the road. Maybe it was left there as a grim reminder to others to drive carefully. Here in the States, something like that would be moved within hours.
Oh, and you know, I think you are on to something there as far as the rattle/ noise goes. A section of cable housing on that internal -routed bike is maybe slapping against the inside of the downtube or bb shell. Reminds me to never buy an internally routed frame😁
Looks like your front fender is vibrating . It might be hitting the tire. I have had ticking noises before, and it was a twig inside the fender. Have a safe ride back to your home.
Enjoyed u tub have heard a lot about the Ho Chi Minh road and trial.did not realize em thuong had a temper when she got hungry,oh well I know that co linh does!yes my wife wraps the rolls as well many similarities oh we are married to Vietnamese wife’s wait till your father gets all that added attention!
It may just be my eyes, but at 13:57, it looks like the seat tube water bottle moved just slightly when the sound happened. Maybe check your bottle cage screws?
Porque você não usa sinalizadores traseiros nas bikes? Pedalar em estradas sempre é bom ser bem visível de longe...Cuidem-se casal. (Deixe ela falar mais...gostamos do jeito meigo dela aqui no Brasil)
you guys should let her speak japanese so the interaction goes more smoothly. Put sub title and see how that works. don't force her to speak english until it inmproves.
We've done that for many years. She's been working hard to try and speak more English in videos lately, but this trip was making us more tired and stressed compared to usual
Part 5 is also very exciting and appreciate the helpful info here cruise I’ll keep in mind for sure what you discussed here 👍👍👍👍👍👍
It would be nice if you let her talk half as much as you do in her own country in her own language.. could always caption im English

Sorry guys, finding copyright free music for UA-cam is not my strongest point 😅
@@TwoWheelCruise I'm still waiting for you both to sing the 1964 hit song, Sukiyaki. LOL
Again a nice tour of the countryside. You comments about the hotel room definitely provide caution as to where you book rooms.
Incredible trip, this is dream of my life, goodluck guy

Yes, Da Nang is great!
Wow, the holes in the footpaths in that town @5.30 😃. Thanks for showing us your travels, very interesting!
03:11 Oh, she had a bad mood day. I already saw it at the beginning of the video. She struggled to smile, when she said: Let's go!
I didn't sleep well the night before. That makes me feel tired.
Yeah, the hotel from the night before did not help and it was a stressful ride with all the trucks and bad road conditions

Definitely. I can't remember the last time I had to use Vietnamese cash to pay for anything myself 😅

Yeah, it's gross. Usually just "body wash" and no actual soap 😬
Another super day.

Definitely a lot better than the last one

No obvious sign of crash damage. I’d like to think everyone got off safely before the fire took hold.
Some of those road look like Michigan.
😂 True
@@TwoWheelCruise When you were back in Michigan, did you get a chance to ride Rails To Trails? If so, what did you think?
Wind mills = wind powered mills 😉 Wind turbines = wind powered generators 🙂

Maybe the lizard is for bug control? Anyway, enjoy your stay - but how are you getting home?
The lizards are fine, we get them sometimes in our apartment in Da Nang too

I wonder about the food, have you gotten sick from the local fruit? The parasites, or bugs/how they are grown...the water?
