@@Geist7920 hahaha really??? I genuinely didn’t know 1 person on roller who was good with hush before dead zone changes, koodos to them for sticking that out during a time of NF, recluse and mountain top lol

@@Geist7920 ooo yeah for sure now I think it’s honestly solid on roller, I meant before the recent deadzone changes, like when hush first came out, I honestly didn’t know a single successful roller user using it to great success at the time. @Masta_E in a vacuum maybe but due to the nature of mnk that puts them at a huge advantage. And I mean both have aa and magnetism when ADS. And in Destiny with so much movement it would be painful for a lot of people
This is by design. You know that right? Controllers have more friction and MnK has more bending. Each of those are more beneficial on some weapons than others. I dream of the day when sidearms and TLW are as good on MnK as controller, but it will probably never happen.
Thanks for the video! Yes, I've noticed this as well. I as holding to a max range hip-fire Multimach CCX that used to be great (before the NERF a long time ago). I finally gave up waiting and deleted it since it became unusable. It was like trying to hold to a wild horse. I hope we'll have some BUFF to bows overall.
Has it always been this different? I mean there's a LOT of things bungie needs to do to make bows worth running outside of to spite bungie after nuking them in pvp but this is ridiculous
I guess since I exclusively play on console I have never really thought about how hipfire is different between the two inputs. This is insane. I mean I'm not surprised that this is the way it is considering how bungie treats "balancing" pvp but it's still wild to see first hand
Question, isn't the reason why bullet magnetism is so strong on MK is because controller has reticle friction? I understand that this is just hip-fire, but reticle friction does carry very hard. I'm open to have my mind changed. Thank you for your content
@@Geist7920 I was reading a Bungie forums post that said the opposite. I thought the MnK had higher bullet magnetism without the friction that controller provided. But it seems like the friction on activates when you're scoped in. I only use MnK and my aim is absolute garbage and I still find any easy time doming people. This leans credence that an adjustment needs to be made. Maybe Bungie can give controllers more friction with hip-fire, but that could be super busted as well. In any case I can see at a higher level the disadvantage of bad hip-fire.
@@Geist7920 This is incorrect. M&K has no reticle friction at all, while on controller reticle friction is incredibly strong. For controller at least D2 has some of the strongest reticle friction I have played with. Both inputs have bullet magnetism, with M&K having stronger bullet magnetism for most weapons, however not all weapons. An example of bullet magnetism being stronger on controller is The Last Word as you have mentioned, which is why TLW is bad on M&K however very strong on controller. The inputs are clearly not equal in many circumstances, however by playing both I feel that it is generally easier to hit your shots on controller due to the reticle friction gluing to heads, with movement being better on M&K.
@Ascent9 I would argue both have decent movement depending on the TYPE of movement you're going for. Controller always has that omni directional advantage and mnk achieves the same by wildly swinging the camera. Looks flashy but I've been outmaneuvered by both so either can be great. I would also argue that at a certain point at a certain level the input really stops mattering. Both get granted a lot of free hits BUT I'm honestly okay with that in a game with so much crazy movement
@xxtraregular7903 ill retype this now that I'm not at work and half paying attention. Yes you are correct supposedly only controller has reticle friction. I was pretty sure mnk had friction from the hip but i wasn't the one who tested that so i cant confirm. HOWEVER both definitely have very strong magnetism. I've even heard mnk has more though that is a moot point regardless. With even a bit of practice both are fairly easy in my opinion, as long as you don't set your sens higher than you should. It's just frustrating to have what feels like zero magnetism from the hip when on controller. I like to use both inputs and that one difference really throws me off
Its not just hipfire either. even the ADS hitbox on MnK is bigger than roller. I've had so many shots where I aim at the head or neck lvl and it misses or goes right through them. it sucks
The lack of dead zone controls earlier on coupled with this made Hush literally unusable on roller
@allmightgt4861 you can use it it's just a huge skill gap and almost a waste

I think what you showed was not that they need to fix controller, they need to fix m&k from landing shots that should miss lol.
@@Masta_E or give that magnetism to controller since mnk has the better fine aim anyways
@@Geist7920 I think neither should have that though. If your reticle is literally not on a target you should miss 100% of the time.
