You forgot the most important unwritten rule! Of Deathmatch while in queue, if someone waves hi to you in deathmatch and you wave hi back, you are now in an unbreakable alliance. Deathmatch and chill lobbies are the best. If everyone is just emoting and vibing in deathmatch and someone comes in and ruins the vibe, you must now hunt that person on repeat to show them the error of their ways and the power of friendship!
What I hate the most is when the match is going bad and we're losing and everyone starts going crazy and blaming each other, even tho they were nice just a second ago. Please don't lose your shit when the match is going down! If people are all upset and in a bad mood they will NOT start playing better.
When teammates start blaming each other, I always write: "Don't fight each other: the enemy is on the other team." I feel that players are too eager to find the "weak link" in their own team (and often enough they're not even correct), rather than try to find the weak link in the enemy team. Story time: just the other day, my team was absolutely rolled on Juntertown defense, there was this Tracer that kept spamming: "Too slowToo slowToo slow" while keeping me and the other support too distracted/dead to really be of help to our dps and tank, no matter what we switched to. The Tracer player was really good, so I got suspicious and checked: they were in a duo with one of the enemy supports. So I went Kiri and spent the attack round in the enemy backline, forcing the strong dps to come back and help his friend. By the time I needed to tp out, my team had gained the space needed to win the fight. The match went 6-5, but we won in the end :)
As a soundboard user, I try to be funny If it ISNT funny, I stop If I'm told to stop, I stop If it's the middle of some fight, I don't If it's in group chat with my friends, I'm spamming that shit to all hell
@clawz161 people react differently, I might think my bad to the bone riff is funny, someone might think it's funny, someone might not. If it's the first time I use it, and they'd rather me use VC normally, I would.
I'm a madlad who plays Lúcio mainly when going as support, and I've faced Widows often. But thats the funny part: Whenever I decide to switch mid game, if there was no Widow, there'll be one. i might start taking her down again sometimes because of that
As a mercy main, I can confirm that my plat teammates do NOT wait for me. When there’s no one in voice, I will literally watch teammates walk around a corner right before I grab them 😭
Ngl, relatively new (been playing for a few months), have even played as mercy a few hours but never considered doing the taxi thing (obviously will from now on tho)
The push robot one is normally true, especially if the bot is on your side of the map. But if its already far into enemy territory, depending on spawns, they can probably touch anyway if left alone and it wohld be preferable to actually continue to push bot, assumedly lose team fight from enemy ults, and then smack them right back on defence with your own ults. This works since the whole "leave the bot" only applies if your team is ahead already in the match, distance wise. Its almost impossible to lose overtime on push if you had the advantage going into it.
Yeah I was kinda confused by this push rule he mentioned. Even assuming your team is winning...Ideally you SHOULD be pushing the bot when possible, fall back a bit and focus on defense when they try to push back, take advantage of them being pressured to be on the offensive(because they are on the disadvantage), and then push farther in. If you end up losing the teamfight, at least they have to work extra hard to push the bot rather than you NOT pushing and letting the bot sit. If you lose the teamfight, then you'll lose ground without any gain at all, whereas if you push and lose, at least you gained extra ground.
I'm sorry, I'm not swapping.... Especially if people demand i do. I play pharah for fun and comfort. Even in ranked, i stick to my current favorite no matter what.
Always ping the widow ALWAYS ... And if you're a Rein mean and don't say hello back you will become my main target, as a support, I will go Zen and I will destroy you over and over again. Also, if one teammate is left completely alone in cornered by the other team and they say hello. You all have to say hello back before you kill them.
Noooo!! Starting a spray fight with your team mate is the best! I always feel immediate friendship kinda playfulness if either one of us starts spraying over the other’s spray!!
I know you're kinda new to content creation on YT but, you so deserve half a million subs by now. So useful and funny at the same time. And the background gameplay is nice looking. And the green screen is actually good. (Some green screen ppl always have dodgy edges etc). I've watched all your vids and it's so fun to watch. I've been subbed since early on so thanks for the support and real Sombra facts
Well, tomorrow on the 12th Ow2 classic. Which brings 6v6 back. I've never played 6v6. Never had an opinion. And I'm a new player. Just started Jan. 2024 after retiring from F1 eSports Sim Racing. And I already know these things. In Gold my team did a team Teabag on the last player we killed after OT. It was the best funnest thing I've ever been a part of.
I remember one time most of my team was basically on the enemy side and I was being junkrat. I swear I did 87% of the pushing. I was yelled at over the call (the tank was a junker queen and was only one not part of the group.) like I swear I don’t see why they were mad. If it wasn’t for the tanks skill and me being on cart nearly the entire time we wouldn’t have won.
I'd loove to be able to join voice but the toxicity is so damn ridiculous it stops being fun pretty quickly. 20 slurs per game starts to get old pretty quickly Ppl seem to have forgotten the toxicity rule.
The exception to rule 35 is if its quickplay, its okay to not be competitive but also still play the game. But also please don't be a sweat in quickplay. And if you're in (actual) mystery heroes give grace to your teammates and enemies; not everyone knows how to play every singe character super well, and sometimes people have off games with certain characters. I cry everytime i get widow in mh but my survival instincts kick in and i live far too long as her...and genji. Additional unwritten rule for mystery heroes specifically: if you get mercy and notice one of your teammates struggling on the character they're on, let them die. Don't rez them. Theyre either gonna cry and try their best to do what they can as a character they dont play well or stare at you the way my rein stares everytime i lifegrip him out of a bad situation while being killed by the whole team so your rez was for nothing
If you need a reason to have more than one on the payload, it has a passive heal effect, so if you are struggling to stay alive, and you have a zen, makes sense to stay closer to it sometimes.
12:05 THANK YOU! Since Overwatch 1 i am very shocked by how many wannabe content creators use cringe voice changers in ranked games. It's literally the most cringy thing in the world and always gets an insta mute from me
The kiri one is literally me she got like 4 skins recently but since I am broke due to buying all her skins I could only buy the mha one(I spent $70 on her mythic skin)
As a junker main, i always make sure to place a trap outside the enemy spawn and a mine. If i dont i sentence myself to a five game break as junker and play as the current worse hero in the meta.
sombra shouldnt get hated on as much as before she cant just be invis in your backline forever i get the tbags but people being toxic after killing you is a bit much she alot more skill focused and takes patients also her rework is still kinda new so it takes time to actually get used to this so next time you see a sombra do know they arent all toxic people and are just playing a hero the game gives you for free
i quit overwatch since overwatch 2 beta, and i remember noticing that when u push the guy to their spawn u hand them respawn advantage but none of my friends believed blizzard would allow the main objective to hinder ur success and disregarded my statement, i am happy to see that is a thing now and not a debate
I think my favourite thing about the game in more casual play is how people will just mess around . Being a little evil is easily my favourite rule. There’s something I just find hilarious about something like a Rein getting slept from afar and just dashing to the Ana with the sole intention of solo Shattering them. I do stuff like that all the time in casual play and it’s funny because if you mess something like that up, you get to laugh at yourself with the enemy team. It just shows that you guys aren’t taking the match super seriously and you’re just chilling and messing around and stuff, the only problem is that people toxic kinda hard counters messing around like that
Turrets are the BEST players in low elo.. You have an aimbotting, quick firing small demon that, yes, can't move, but can be placed in hard to reach spots/high ground, and it'll really f up your games because it HURTS. I definitely hate seeing my team not shooting torb turret, when im on mercy because i dont have the time to be destroying turret, dodging the enemy team trying to kill me, and keeping my team alive. Also, about gaekeeping mercy skins.. Be upset if dragoon or smth comes back instantly, but also pink mercy coming back was about the CHARITY and not about the skin itself. I think if youre actually mad bcs you bought the original one, you automatically suck because it wasnt about charity it was just about having a rare skin. You werent donating because you support the cause, you're a skin collector. Im not an OG but i bought both and use rose gold all the time. I bought both because someone in my real life is in recovery from a breast cancer surgery, and i feel strongly about the cause. The skins are cool, but the cause is where i was with it. (I even asked to borrow money so i could keep my expenses paid for, and my mom said i didnt have to pay her the cash back because she agrees with the cause itself.) Gatekeep skins unless its for a charity like that, then you just sound like a dick who doesnt care for the cause.
On number 28. Absolutely end on a loss if it's been awhile. Especially if you know your the type to get more frustrated as you lose. Sometimes it's Absolutely better to take a break and come back with a fresh attitude
1:50 LOL, I feel this, Roadhog/Junkrat/Sombra main here, I get A LOT of toxicity and it makes me sad, I'm just trying to have fun as much as anyone else. 2:56 This. I really don't get it. I genuinely don't understand it, I'm not even a toxic person, I always send thanks for heals and GG at the end of the game, I'm only toxic because I play Sombra I guess.
3:30 I've been getting DPS a lot on All-Roles lately. I hate it. I usually go All-Role to play Tank with the occasional Support thrown in. It's got to the point that I just leave QP games when I see that I've been given DPS.
I agree, as a Torb main for the love of god stop ignoring my turret, I don't mind you dying to it if you are really adamant about doing so, but just know it hurts my soul every time you let it happen for free.
Omg I figured that out too. 😭 I let the baby dva live too so that she will respawn after her team already spawns in. It's the same reason I started killing myself when we've lost the team fight so we can wave spawn together.
Unwritten rule: When you get an elim and the enemy team has a Mercy, target her next so she can't rez. If you can, try to lure her in for a rez so it gets put on cooldown for the next fight.
I'd say you missed one. So bassicaly if you was running towards an enemy and they was alone say hi and tell em to run. However if they engage you engage
The "dont be toxic" rule should be changed to "be toxic" instead because basically every game has toxicity. Also, for the "C9", it should be changed to "Say c9 as long as the enemy team doesnt touch the point when the timer runs out.", even if it isnt a real c9
There really should be a "caution, objective" callout, but having "fallback" on a button may get people to look at what's going on, tho I'll admit "may" is doing heavy lifting in that sentence. As a person who likes to play support, I'm not going to follow a "up the middle, blob formation" if we are on defence and going way past the cart, the lack of my healing usually will draw some of the others back either by low health or by respawn, I'm a bit of a payload princess though.
The "being a little bit evil" rule, I think I did once, maybe even a few times. If I threw matches for loud 5-stacks I've been in purely because _I_ was upset, does that make me somewhat evil or just plain toxic? If it's the latter, I'll understand and I'll wholeheartedly accept what retribution is coming my way
In Quickplay and you and an enemy are way out of position and you see each other, don't kill each other, say hi, teabag a bit, then let each other escape to their team.
Another unwritten rule: when you sleep someone as ana and they are close by you, put the pillow spray on the head so it looks like they're sleeping
And the “need someone to tuck you in?” Voice line
9 times out of 10, it'll be tank.
"so it looks like they're sleeping" -- they ARE sleeping, buddy
mimimimimimi
Bonus point if hanzo headshots them so their body stays on the pillow
Only break the rails you need to break, they can save you too, remember that.
In my experience, queuing for all means queuing for support.
Not recently It's tank and sometimes DPS least for me
tank*
For me it a spit in between tank and support
Wonder if this is a skill thing like depending on what elo or what your MMR is, changes what roles have less players
@@crossdaboss8914 its a season thing too. Depends on new commander. When Mauga came out, Tank went from most landable on all to least.

Please don't lose your shit when the match is going down! If people are all upset and in a bad mood they will NOT start playing better.
this, i've had games that have been won just by working together, play as a team
When teammates start blaming each other, I always write: "Don't fight each other: the enemy is on the other team." I feel that players are too eager to find the "weak link" in their own team (and often enough they're not even correct), rather than try to find the weak link in the enemy team.

Omg I figured that out too. 😭 I let the baby dva live too so that she will respawn after her team already spawns in. It's the same reason I started killing myself when we've lost the team fight so we can wave spawn together.
5:12 I PLAY PALADINS FOR FUN THO
7:14 I don’t have the pizza tho
Neeerrrd!!!
Im sorry for your loss
16:43 I can already see the frustration and contemplating from Jay3 LMAOOO
I was literally *just* playing Overwatch with my friends, one of them playing for the first time :)
People need to stagger torb turrets and illari pylons more often
Another unwritten rule: As a rein main, you have to solo shatter a defenseless hero (baby dva/mercy).
instead of 50 games without pocket, make it 50 mercy parkours
I called out a c9 recently and the whole lobby didn’t know what it was.
Another unwritten rule: if Moira is on your team, run away from yellow orbs
Ok but
Comp mystery heroes was so fun
The "being a little bit evil" rule, I think I did once, maybe even a few times. If I threw matches for loud 5-stacks I've been in purely because _I_ was upset, does that make me somewhat evil or just plain toxic? If it's the latter, I'll understand and I'll wholeheartedly accept what retribution is coming my way
I am a religious ult economy believer.
If I really need to swap because I'm 4-5 but I'm just barely at 51% ult charge I have to begrudgingly not swap
For forgot rule 45. Whether you win or lose text in chat tank diff if you did better then the enemy tank
In Quickplay and you and an enemy are way out of position and you see each other, don't kill each other, say hi, teabag a bit, then let each other escape to their team.
As a ball main, I think rule 36 should been revoked
Its a stress relief, doesnt mean you need to relieve your stress on others
