I greatly appreciate this video. My friend and I love King Krule, he plays the bass and me, guitar n drums. Any of k. rule's songs we can get our hands on n learn is making memories with our favorite band. Thank you for supplying a good memory 🤙
nice man, i only picked up guitar recently so muting the strings is a bit tough but after like a week or so of practicing i can kinda play it, thanks a lot what a beautiful tune
Nice tutorial brother one question, do you record your guitar sound? If so which software do you use and which audio interface? I have a Scarlett solo and use FL studio but I get alottt of latency. If you would mind letting me know:)! Btw you seem like a natural at this!
So the sound I used in this video was going thru a 1st gen scarlett 6i6 into ableton, but the thing that really gave it it's sound is using the amplitube 5 plugin. It's a pretty effective way of emulating amps, pedals, everything without setting up a mic to a real amp. Edit: As far as latency, make sure that FL studio's sound preferences are using the scarlett ASIO drivers and it should take care of itself really.
Ashton Young do you get any latency with ableton or your Scarlett? I’ve tried using the Focusrite ASIO but then no sound comes from Fl studio so I change it back to FL studio ASIO and I get latency it’s so weird, maybe I need to upgrade my audio interface since I bought it for 70 cx
@@Tapez I don't get noticeable latency, I think it's like 20-30ms. It exists, but it's fine to play with. As long as you have a decent machine and aren't live monitoring a ton of plugins then it should be fine. I would try searching some online forums for help.
i dont understand what youre playing at 3:33 you say play the 7th again but it doesnt sound or look like youre just playing the open 6th and holding the 4th string
@@ashtonyoung the pro or just ii? Also (newbie here) how manageable is the weight of the sheraton? I've seen a lot of folks recommend fender strats/teles due to how lightweight and comfortable they are to play; is there any truth to that? I just can't get past the super twangy tone Fenders offer, the epiphone tones are just too good lol. That being said, I'd also like to be able to tap, slide, etc more easily if possible.
The intro to this song always hits me soo hard with nostalgia, the feelings are hard

@@kylerredd8108 Just the standard one. It's a semi-hollow body so it is less dense than a strat and feels lighter to me. I think it feels great.
@@ashtonyoung duly noted, appreciate your time man, much love.
Simon from the inbetweeners teaches you king krule
Hey! We have the same name! Nice lesson too
Thank you man! I dig ur profile pic, I like lil peep as well :-)
an you post tabs somewhere?
is it possible to use a epiphone uptown k and still sound like this?
cool, what is the setup for the guitar? besides using amplitube 5, what else did you use?
All the plugins were through amplitube 5, other than that it was directly plugged into my focusrite scarlett 6i6
Ashton Young what plug-ins?
What guitar is that? Like is it Gibson or an off shoot because it sounds banging
It’s an epiphone sheraton II
What’s the tuning?
What guitar is that??
Bandoo Epiphone Sheraton II
Veru epic
Wish there were tabs
you look like young Bernard Sumner
Yo, so I’m trying to make a song sampling this intro. Can you record then send to me. Thanks.

If you want to avoid cliche, spare us the "i wanted to..., but instead..., so i tought...., Etc" just shut up dont talk , dont show your face.
Bro..... who hurt you
You should’ve just left that comment to yourself tbh

I just think its good content, but the other stuff is unnecesary, get to the point. Thats it.
