Shout out my physics teacher Mr “Crusher” Rush for sharing his love of king krule with the class. Gonna miss you Crusher
Damn that’s cool as hell! S/o mr Rush
what a legend
Based physics teacher!
That’s so cooool
Hell yea
Archy's musical nature is so hypnotic and I am constantly impressed by how well he captures and executes his ideas. He thrives in intimate, live performances such as these.
Most distinctive sound of any guitarist/songwriter around today. People have been trying and failing at ripping him off since he was 16, over a decade later and he's still the best. Mad respect.
Actually I think boygenius has the most distinct sound to be honest and this guy might be ripping off the sound of boygenius too
Just giving credit where it’s due
@@hellobrowizard101 ermmm akshually *wrong opinion*
Nobody does it quite like him. He ‘oozes’ this music from his soul, others try to emulate that but fail because it is not genuine
@@hellobrowizard101 I hope to God that you are joking because boygenius debut in 2018 while King Krule has been at it since 2013. Not saying that boygenius is bad or anything but your statement is totally incorrect. Plus their sound is so different.
@@hellobrowizard101 BOYGENIUS!? pls tell me ur kidding 😭😭😭😭
Their live versions are always more emotional and intimate vs the album versions. How lucky of those who get to watch KK live.
i’m seeing him live in 2 weeks 😊
Their live versions are real music! something different than aleatory studio musics that we see every day :))
@@never100x Have fun! I saw him on aug 2nd in brooklyn and that was my very ever first convert. KK took my live virginity away....It was amazing and I got to meet him and took a photo with me too! we snuck and waited at the back of the venue. DO the same! he'll take like 2 hours after the event to come out, but he will. just wait around chatting up with other people. I got to meet some really awesome people as well. I don't go out at all, hate people, but I'm glad I did. Enjoy!
i'm going this september!!!!!!
@@menmygeetar2024 Hell yeah! You'll love it. Most of his songs live are such a trip. I hope you meet him too. buy some merch and wait around the back of the venue and he'll most likely sign it if you ask. Archy was such a nice person to us. I hope you have fun and a great time! Come back to this post and let us know how it went when you get back.

was lucky enough to see him live this week. such an interesting aura around him. great performance.
All admiration to Archy here, but Ignacio Salvadores on sax just nails it. Such a nice, slightly Ornette Colemanish sound, fits surprisingly well with Archy's voice. I almost prefer this type of alto sound over baritone.
Gotta say I really disagree, I get what he's trying to do but it just sounds too dissonant majority of the time, I love sax with archys music but the sax on many tracks throws me off.. I just wish it were in key/tune more often as to be less jarring.. But also I know that's what he's going for
I agree. The saxophone gets under the skin, which is probably the point, but it feels like a radio frequency with something else entangled in the song@@Sam-by3kk
@@Sam-by3kk couldn't describe better what I was feeling while listening to this
Beautiful tune. tortoise of happiness
Seeing KK for the first time in a couple of weeks, can’t freakin wait!! Hoping they play full intro of flimsier. Goes hard
You going to the LA show? My first time as well man, so stoked.
Witnessed him in Katowice, you will not be dissapointed!
Me too man going to see them in Seattle. So excited! 😬
@@NarcOutI’m going to his LA show!
saw him in Philly in July. You won’t regret it that was one of the best gigs i’ve ever been to
This version of draagon is so fucking awesome. It’s crazy how well just three instruments are able to make such an interesting piece
I’m so glad I was born in the same lifetime as Archy. To be able to witness this beauty live is a wonderful thing

Same most hype I’ve ever been at any concert
:( i was supposed to go! :(:(:( booked tickets and everything. who knows when hes gunna go on tour again :(
I went to Manchester 23, deffinatly best gig I've been followed by hak baker at boomtown and Jamie t and finsbury park, can't pick between the 2
But king krule is absolutely incredible live
how melancholic, lonely but understood feeling at the same time. He's expressionism is inspiring
I always see ur comments under every archy vid and I love how passionate you are for the music. Hope all is well ❤
Holy moly 25:56 I felt that, can’t wait to see him in less than a month 🙏
felicidades a todos por el álbum y feliz cumpleaños Archy
At the lowest to the highest of my life... King Krule always there. (My eng so poor so, This's the best I can tell about my feeling)
It made perfect sense :)
40's noir New York meets 2000's in the east end. One of the best talent to come out of Britain in a while.
You should also listen to black country new road, jockstrap, black midi and dry cleaning. All incredible British bands that came out in the last 5 years or so.
But yes KK is fantastic.
Yes, I'm well versed in all of it, thanks for the suggestions though!@@giuseppepietrogava2993
Puma Blue too!
To come out of anywhere really
Seeing him on the 25th at Hollywood Paladium. Super excited to see him!
Driving 8 hours to see you guys in Nashville, so stoked safe travels frens

I hope you enjoyed it
I had a ticket to this tour and for complicated reasons gave it away to a good friend of mine. biggest regret of my life
i love king kruel
I cried when I saw King Krule live at Pitchfork 2023, and I am not afraid to say it
Absolutely blown away by this
Nice setlist. The shows keeps getting better. Love ya'll!
thank you for this, i love you. the swishing of the wave sounds/shhhh sounds is so soothing, the visuals are so beautiful and melancholic and peaceful. but also so playful! ignacio looks a little bit like spock and plays a lot a bit like an angel, you are all so marvellous.
That's spok on brother
Who is that in the backdrop behind Archy on stage? I feel like it’s familiar, maybe from the Blue Train Lines video?
incredible performance as always Archie but that "I suppose" at 07:12 really caught me off guard
he did that in his live version previous to releasing the album so to me who downloaded that version it was the same but I can definitely see how that would catch anyone off guard. I was lowkey sad to not hear it on the album version tho
literally kills me every time
finally got to see him live in July, my life’s almost complete
luckyyyy
Prepare to need one more before death after this first one (my situation) 🥲

@@corkus7077 nah i HAVE to see him again for sure
@@jinkiesbtchwhy almost?
this show was a spiritual experience. the relaxed, foggy little venue matched the sound so well
i love how this comment section is full of people who enjoy and understand the music so deeply that it just makes sense, we see the beauty and fulfilment that archy achieves through his art, and that is something i am beyond thankful for
If you can, make sure to see him live. One of the best shows you’ll ever see. 🖤
You just made me so excited, seeing him in September!! Can't wait
tbqh the show I went to was just girls screaming ArChY ArChY NoTIcE Me and then him being supertired and having no energy and leaving while his band did a last instrumental song lol
@@totalunconcernwas it one of the best shows you ever saw ❤
it really was one of the shows I ever saw
Seeing him tonight with my friend from college who I haven’t seen in 2 years
The saxophone on pink shell is amazing
Yeah it’s legit out of this world
Gal Go compliments KK so well, man! I thank the Lord damn near every day, that they crossed paths and he became apart of the band.
This!!!!
love to see ignacio enjoying himself at the stage
7:13 is really funny
Sad that this band played on Long Island, my hometown, while I've been living on the opposite side of the coast. Though, I'm glad to know he and his friends enjoyed the same sands and salt I have, with that same child-like playfulness. This makes it all the more real, all the more calm, as if I were on those very same beaches again. Thank you, Archy.
Wake up babe! The new Archy Marshall video just dropped!
Ignacio is a true master of his craft. These two are almost telepathic on stage together. A joy to see these two collaborate and create music.
Just saw the Kang in Seattle and absolutely one of the best concerts of my life. By far the best version of baby blue I've heard to date. Literally brought tears to my eyes. Love you King Krule! ❤️
This tour was incredible!
Flimsier is one of the best songs of the year.
I love these live sets he does, I always put them in the background while I work. Thanks for another one King
THANK YOU ARCHY MARSHALL
Man there are very few artists who sound the same live and Archy is one of those people. Plus the band always there to bring everything to life
wdym their live versions are always better than album versions, sometimes by a lot (most of the ooz especially)
you have no idea how much i needed this

watching this on the last full moon of 2023
- Anemone, ou Only Living is Gold. Fica minha recomendação
One time in NYC I was opening for a band doing comedy and I was wearing a ridiculous skin-tight unitard tuxedo and I walked into a back room and all of King Krule was there. I was a big fan so I had to introduce myself looking like a total dickhead. They were nice guys.
I was at this show. It was the best show I’ve ever been to, it was such an intimate setting and the first time I heard many songs from space heavy, I’m so happy there’s footage so beautifully shot of this show viva galgo viva galgo
Saw him in Brooklyn. Absolutely incredible. My favorite artist right now. Holy shit this version of Pink Shell is awesome
mate, this is bloody lovely.
this was so good, i already know im going to be playing this on repeat. i saw him in chicago in july and i cant wait to see him again in seattle next month
Which show did you like better? Just curious because I was supposed to go to the Chicago one but I had to cancel my trip last minute. So I ended up going to Seattle, which was AMAZING! :)
He'll never know how much I love him
perfecto miserable live is the greatest thing to bless my ears 😓
King Krule always makes me feel so nostalgic
thanks for this !
King Krule live is always an amazing experience
KK is truly one of a kind artist
Davy Jones
King Kang Archy Breathtaker, maker, KRULE
i got to see him in 2018 when i turned 18 and it's still one of my favorite concerts, it's such a unique experience. The opener was great as well. I'm sad covid took away my second chance at seeing him live.
Standing on the corner :,)
epic stuff, love the sax. one of the most fun shows i've ever been to
How many of us kept blowing at and wiping the top left side of our screens around 6:45 😂🎧😅🥰🤦🏻♀️🥰
Edit : holy 21:21!! Talk about DIRTY 🥰
Dumb surfer is one hell of an amazing track.
Is up there with the best of indi bands ever .
You be the judge
But i know what I am talking about.
Fantastic work guys.
My ex used to sing King Krule songs around me. The songwriting is magnetic. Now that we aren't together, I listen to King Krule by myself. I'm not sure if its the music or the relationship but I can't help but cry everytime I listen.
Please come to KOREA ㅜ ㅜ 😂😂😂😂
Shoutout to all independent tortoises 🐢
if my Friday is sad I came back to this video willing to visit some gig of King Krule. Good day to everyone who read my comment
look like a long hair Putin on background ?
another lonely night
another lonely night
😔
Hands down best concert, and I've been to many REALLY good concerts.
did anyone hear a bit of empty stomach space cadet towards the end of tortoise of independency?? i mean they are back to back on the album and tortoise fades pretty nicely and seamlessly into empty stomach, maybe it was one musical piece at the start and they split it in two when they recorded?
still had dreams of being archy marshall.
Where is JAMES WILSON???
MAKE THIS A VINYL I WILL PAY A TRILLION DOLLARS KRULE
Badass he ripped the dragon out for this one
King Krule is so good because of his style and chord progressions and Archy just has a craft like no other. The saxophone player is also killing it.
man, i've seen you in comments of videos for the course of over eight years and you've never changed your profile pic once; i want to know more about you. the first comments i ever saw that you wrote were on tame impala videos hahaha

Damn man, somehow you keep blowing my mind. Incredible!
wish this included that is my life, that is yours ): it was my fav song to experience live at this show. does anyone have a clip of it ?
Saw King Krule play at King's Theatre in Brooklyn. Amazing show. Just left me with a love of saxophone and thinking every band needs a Galgo. Galgo completely made the show
I remember as if it were today the 2014 concert in Milan at Magnolia ❤️
seeing him next week finally at the Hollywood palladium whose gonna be there ?
Archy and crew live from the Hamptons is the perfect end of summer vibe we all need.
Currently the best band on the planet... can't wait to see them in Dublin Nov!!
