Great review. Ideally equipped vehicle. Cloths seats with power- ideal. No power lift rear gate so no annoying beep. Right sized wheels with real tires. Well done Toyota!!
please be warned toyota rav4 2023 has a buggy and frustrating media system. they said its made by Panasonic, but how would that matter? basic features like android auto don't work well
I was debating whether to buy the XLE vs LE. I like the looks of the alloy wheels in XLE but was concerned about reliability and durability of steel wheels. Any thoughts? Are the power seats in the XLE about the same comfort level of the LE?
2023 RAV4 CarPlay Navigation Issues while connect your phone to use the Apple Map or Google Map. The issues with their navigation over Apple CarPlay randomly putting them off-road, on parallel roads, or even off the route completely, like taking an exit ramp you're not on. If you are own one RAV4 2023, please test it out too see if you having an issue with the CarPlay. Toyota knew the issue. I don't know if Toyota will take this seriously or not, but it's been so long for them to fix it. I hope more people know about it and complain to your Toyota dealer and open case with Toyota Brand Engagement Center, so they can take action faster. Thanks.
Something that confuses me about Toyota is how they decide to option automatic wipers on different models.. for example the RAV4 can pretty much get auto wipers on all trims but the highlander you have to get the top trim. Same w sienna. Hopefully in they future they can be like Mazda and make it standard on more/most trims!
Toyota is weird with standard features. Their sedans have auto headlights but Camry base doesn't have Electric parking brake and full speed adaptive cruise, but the Corolla has all that at base, RAV4 and Corolla cross doesn't have auto headlights at base
@@hjer731 the auto headlights pisses me off the most! How is it that the base corolla hatchback has auto headlights but the RAV and corolla cross don’t.. especially when the 2018 RAV LE had auto lights. Not to mention the hatchback has standard smart key, soft door panels w stitching, upgraded headlights, alloy wheels.. they need to get it together and stop w the cheapness. It’s 2023 and not having auto lights is mediocre. The corolla hatchback is a prime example they can include lots of standard equipment but from what I can see the more trims there are the less equipped the base models will come.
Very nice and no-nonsense review. One question, though...does the new multimedia system include dynamic grid lines for the backup camera? In the 2022 models you had to get the Audio Plus package for that.

I've only driven small sedans and hatchbacks. Do you think I'll find it difficult to drive a RAV4? I'm worried that staying in my lane and parking will be quite challenging but am I worrying needlessly?
i would probably lean towards worrying needlessly but i’ve driven all different sizes of cars. the rav4 is a relatively compact suv which isn’t too difficult to drive. plus you’re sitting higher up so you get a better view of what’s going on around you
The RAV4 is 181 inches long. A 2023 honda civic is 184 inches long. The RAV4 is smaller than a honda civic (mathematically). The RAV4 wasn't even on my radar due to the small trunk, I went with the Highlander Hybrid (194 inches long)
This is in USA, and no it doesn't come standard with the cargo liner. The cargo liner comes with the all weather mats for the front and it's a $309 option from the factory
please be warned toyota rav4 2023 has a buggy and frustrating media system. they said its made by Panasonic, but how would that matter? basic features like android auto don't work well The wireless carplay keeps screwing up and takes like 1-2 min to start, that is extremely bad as compared to kia and honda with similar systems.

Bought the XLE Premium for the SofTex seats, Fog Lights and etc. which is perfect for me.
straight to the point and really clear. thank you!
Superb! No nonsense.
Thinking about buying the AWD one soon! 🔥🔥

Really great review. All the details yet not boring or too long. Does the auto start and brake hold remember the setting when turned off?
Not the brake hold, you have to press the button when you start the car again

agreed it’s strange that they do that

Superb review. Thank you.
Superb review. I just bought this car.
How much money out the door?
Glad there's no turbos or cvt transmission.
Thanks for being thorough, but having "black plastic" and where the emblems are pointed out is relatively unimportant.
Quick question. Those interior lights are white or yellow ? 🤔🤔🤔
whats the out-the-door-price of this car?
Do all XLE models come with the weather mats?
No
Superb review

I came from a small Lexus coupe (SC300) and I didn't have trouble adapting.

There's a lot of subpar features for a vehicle that's $30k+
Nice

is there a radio station in this car
yes there is AM and FM radio
@@Krowicki is there a tutorial I’ve been trying to find it but I don’t know where it at
30 mpg?? Isnt it 39-40 mpg???
that would be the hybrid version of this
If you drive slow
damn I thought there’d be wireless charging
That’s like asking for a 6 cylinder.
