Thank you for video. I took my crossbars off . I hated that the bar went right across the sun roof. I have a RAV4XEL. I got it in late June. I love it but still learning about it. My salesman was awful on pickup day. I had to learn much by these videos. Wishing you many happy miles. I get about 24.7 on my local trips. Thanks again !
@@theresadoskocz8330 yay I’m so happy for you!! Oh my goodness I had a bad experience with my salesman as well… I also get annoyed by the cross bars above the sun roof but I am going to want a basket up there some time so I decided to keep them. Happy miles to YOU too!
Great tour. I bought the exact same a couple weeks ago. Still learning features every day. Didn’t know about the one touch locking feature. I’m just starting to receive the bits-n-bobs ordered for my customizing, hood deflector, hitch unfortunately is back ordered, roof rack feet and different towers for my Yakima roof racks, console tray. I liked the fob cover you had. I’ll have to look into that. Great car! Happy to move into the RAV4 world like you ;)
I have a white 2024 just like yours...I get 35 mpg on the hwy, and even around town I get no lower than 30. I'm an ultra conservative driver and light on the accelerator peddle. Love my RAV4!
Oh my goodnes, 35 mph! Is is the same model? I am very gentle with my rav4 also while driving so I am not sure why it is still saying 26 mph for me. Glad you are loving your rav4!!:)

@@Ipadairpro8636 ok I was bummed about this feature for sure…BUT some 2024 premiums do have the heated seats. It just happens to be that this specific package didn’t have the heated seats put in.
@@rileys_reality black and we wanted one with specific packages we wanted black interior too but actually fell in love with the gray instead when we seen the car that’s coming in
@@jerpsrn great question! I was debating for a while…I think the main reason I chose the rav4 would be the sporty look on the outside. That might seem like a silly reason but I loved the look.
I have the exact same rav4 just in black and the reason I chose the rav4 over the CRV is because the rav4 does not have the cvt transmission unlike the CRV
@@Gopinathk17 I did think about that option…but I have no experience with hybrids. Personally it seemed intimidating. I’m sure they’re great, but it wasn’t a feature I was really wanting. Thanks for the suggestion though!
@@rileys_reality just curious..why do you need experience for hybrids? And what is intimidating?? It's like any other normal car. For better gas mileage you can use pulse and glide technique. It's really a matter of watching a 10 min video on how hybrid works. The reason why I'm suggesting hybrid is, it's much smoother, quieter and quicker than the gas model Rav4. It also gives you easily 40mpg combined. But somewhere I read your comment that you got this car for $31k including taxes, that's a damn good deal, you saved a lot there. No need for a hybrid, you might not get this kind of a deal on Hybrid.
@@Gopinathk17 the biggest intimidation was finding places to charge it! I know it does give gas and hybrid options but I just want sure I wanted to deal with that. Plus the price was another factor…we definitely got an amazing deal. We wouldn’t have been able to afford the price of the hybrids.
@@rileys_reality No, you don't need to charge the Hybrid cars, hybrid battery gets charged automatically by the concept called "Regenerative braking" and also while engine is running, it recharges the battery. When the brakes are applied, the hybrid system captures energy from the wheels and recharges it's hybrid battery. Only "plug-in" hybrid trim is required to be charged, Again that's also not mandatory but it can be advantageous to keep it charged. The RAV4 plug-in hybrid also has self-charging technology and can also be charged using the external charging cable. Charging the battery can help you save money on gasoline, especially for your daily commutes.
