  • Pravus by Meshuggah played in Tokyo, Japan and ripped from the Alive DVD.
    There were already videos of this on UA-cam but the audio quality in the ones I could find was disappointing so I wanted to offer a better one.

      Only seen them live once, but they were the tightest, well - "best sounding" metal, no, any band I've seen. I was astonished how good they sounded. I also got my ass kicked hard in the pit - I OWNED THAT PIT and I paid for it. Great gig.

    When I saw Meshuggah live they opened up for Tool about 15 years ago. They had absolutely no stage effects. they came out with all the lights on (just white lights, no flashes) and played their entire set that way. It was amazing.

      @@gabberpiet6919 nah they dont, Thomas haake has said himself he doesnt even understand most tool songs he listens too. I'd say they are very comparable, but on the same playing field all together. In complexity alone, tool is much harder to follow than Meshuggah

      Ever since I saw them headbanging in live show, I don't know why whenever I see other musicians or cover artists headbanging, it gives me cringy feeling 🤣
      It's like I'm used to these guys more now, but sad thing is, they stopped headbanging in live shows now. :/

      Not trying to stir the pot, but I'd have to disagree.
      Within The Ruins has some epically brutal breakdowns that out do Meshuggah.
      Also, Leprous-The Sky is Red. The last 3-4 minutes of that song is insane. Sure it may not have double bass blasting you in the gut, but the synergy of all the instruments in that crescendo make for one of the darkest and most intriguing breakdowns out there.
      I get being a fan and really feeling the music, but try not to hyperventilate over a small section of music that's found in a much larger ocean of heaviness.

      2. Aside from that, having harmony and melody and rhythm is far from the definition of music in my opinion. I'd define music as any collection of sounds that the artist who made/arranged it would call music.

    Controversial opinion ahead
    Gojira is a great band and they showcase what human beings can achieve. They are the epitome of human perfection, everything from emotional aspect to precision, everything is great.
    But there is a point beyond that a human body can't achieve.
    But these guys...these guys have achieved beyond human capabilities.
    It is like i am watching Gods performing on the stage.
    I am convinced these guys are not human. In fact, the real question is what dimension they are from!

    Banda sagaz até demais, o album do meshuggah obzem e o melhor de todos prá min, em minha opinião, os outros e bom tanbem, mas meu preferido e o album obzem. Muito caótico as músicas deste album, e apesar que a capa deste album, e especialmente brilhante a ponto de querer comprar uma camiseta deste album. Já sou fan dessa banda ah pouco tempo, e sou totalmente fan de cada obra desta banda, e o que mais me inpreciona, e a voz do vocalista, e todo mundo e foda slc, banda e atmosferica, sonzeira fudido no calor da tempestade.

    Recuerdos que la primera de Meshuggah en Chile al temrinar el concierto nadie del público se iba y cantamos cómo 20 minutos para que volvieran los músicos salieron como 3 veces a despedirse y la gente aún tenía la esperanza de que tocaran más temas fue un show increíble además de que fue la primera vez que probé el trip con un cogollo de raza espectacular en era como estar en otra dimensión con la música y las luces
