  • Hey All, in today's video I am going to show how to get silver hair or icy silver white hair with ion's new bright whites color/toning collection by combining two of the colors, snow cap, and icy white. I have already tried the toner in snow cap color which works great if you want more of a white hair result. Adding in the Icy white will add that silver gray metallic color. This is definitely my new favorite when it comes to hair toners. Hope you all have a fabulous day or night and enjoy! Also be sure to hit that thumbs up to like this video Thanks, guys, you all rock! ox

      Great! If you want a light silver color it's the way to go. It does seem to fade a bit faster then I'd like but that seems to be most toners really.

    Trying this tonight, as the ION titanium has a dark blue tone, too strong for nearly "white" lightened hair!
    I'm hoping it's a favourite!

      Cool! I really like it. But for the titanium you can also mix it with the ION'S shade diluter for a lighter shade.😊

    Thank you for this video. I've been toning my hair white but using the Ion blonde shampoo. I have to saturate my hair and leave it in for 2 hours! There are just no good vegan toners that are easily available....so I should use the snow cap if I want my hair white?
    Your hair looks great!

      Life Play Digital thank you. I'm going to do this tomorrow! You've really made my day. I was on the verge of not having white hair anymore because the toning issue was more time consuming than bleach touch ups.

    I use the platinum lace and the first time it was good the last time I used it it had so much blue in it.. not very informative since your hair is still wet so can’t see the actual color looks like yours pulled blue also.. gonna probably go back to wella next time..

    "I'm all mixed up" ya think?! Understatement of The Century

      Well, it is only the very beginning of this century, not even a quarter way through yet, I'm positive there will be many statements by countless others much more deserving of understatement of the century. Just be patient.😛

    So is it the snow cap or the icy white that has left those gray tones in your hair? Which one would you say is more comparable in color to the wells t18 if you know it would be very helpful!

      The icy white is where the silver grey color came from if you're going for white use the snow cap. The ion bright whites seemed to not last quite as long as the Wella toners did. I liked mixing the Wella T18 with T14 together too.

    Did you find that the color fades fast?

    • @Lifeplaydigital
      @Lifeplaydigital  5 років тому

      Yes, it did seem to, but depending on what hair treatments and products I used at the time, though I really loved the color while it lasted.

      Yeah sorry. It was mostly dry at the end of the video. My hair looked just slightly lighter fully dry. Hope that helps.
