Another thing to try is put a riffle hitch on a traditional muddler minnow treated with floatant and skate it on the surface. Nice video, thanks for sharing.

Honestly I never thought about that. I think I’ve only seen the guys on the new fly fisher use them to swing bombers for Atlantics and big brook trout.
