Congrats on your RCC win at WGI. It was great seeing you guys in the lot, and during the performance. It's pretty cool seeing a guy from minnesota with all the california guys.
They're mostly shout outs to nearby guard girls, but in there we say "Scooby Snacks", "D.T.J.", "Joe Woodie", the snares had a few others but I don't know what they were
hey joe its andrew i just wanna say awesome video and your a really cool guy for being so nice to me during tour im glad i got to meet you and hangout with you last summer
I just made the tenorline at my highschool this year and in our opener for our 3rd movement which is Dies Irae it is a complete drumline feature for about 60 measure and it starts with the tenors opening with our own feature and the tempo is 176 bpm and I have sixteenth note paradiddlediddles with a flam on every first Right hand diddle so it's RL(flamR)RLL and so on and I've been practicing at lower tempos and it's not helping me I can't really get the flams nice at 176 do you have any tips? This is a huge feature for us and it's the most challenging music our drumline has had so far and the last thing I want is for them to rewrite the music.
The rims? It's a ventilation system that gives them the option of opening and closing the vents in the drum for a drier or wetter sound in the drums. Really ingenious system.
