- I had the perfect hand cannon just sitting in my vault. I don’t remember getting this but I guess I did at some point. Warden’s Law is the best hand cannon to use with lucky pants because it gets vorpal weapon for a free 20% buff on hand cannons and it gets fourth times the charm so you can keep the lucky pants buff for its full duration. I just so happened to have this exact roll with appended mag to increase the mag size by 4, AND it’s an adept version which means it gets adept backup mag to further increase the mag size to 28 up from 16. Almost double ammo WITH FOURTH TIMES THE CHARM. You basically never have to stop shooting and you’ll definitely get all 10 seconds from lucky pants.

Wardens law + lucky pants + kinetic surges into a super with microcosm has been my go to dps build with content with no solar surges. So glad to have a kinetic heavy
And (once bungie brings this back), as long as your super matches the current surge, your kinetic weapons will alwaus recieve the 25% surge bonus.

@@camcicero947 yeah, they're removing surges entirely and globally buffing damage, so it's as if surges are always active. What I said in my previous comment still applies for content with surges.
@@hue_lord_4208 It only applies to activities with the Overcharged Weapons modifier, not with activities that just have surges alone. Lost sectors and exotic missions have overcharged, so it works there, but things like the seasonal activity ONLY have surges, so kinetics can't get any benefits
If you have more bullets than you can physically fire in the lucky pants duration, then fourth times is a waste. Enlightened action works great to reset wardens when the damage boost runs out (can also negate the effects of extended mag, making that viable for even non-adepts), but since the perk reset this season demolitionist would be the best choice imo if you have a mag that big.
But can you shoot all your bullets within 10 seconds and not need FTTC? That’s the question. If so then yeah it’s not needed.
optimal rotation would prob be - lucky pants warden - dodge - envi dump with edge - lucky again. Fourth times is def needed + u don't want to reload manually anyway. Demo is ok this season actually but only on void imo. You can proc weaken for your edge which is 25% this season because of expanding.
Yeah, I much prefer enlightened action because the gun needs to be fully reloaded anyway for the next wave of lucky pants shots and because you’ve landed so many shots you get to use the perk to its full effect
@@scarf213 you only need fourth if you run out of ammo. This vid has a 28 round mag, you can barely shoot 24 before the full 10 seconds was up. Fourth is definitely not required. You're also only considering boss dps whereas I'm talking best roll overall, since enlightened works to give fast reloads and demo gives instant reloads and ability energy through general play, hence why I said demo is likely best with a high mag size.

Malfeasance has a 20 round magazine which ends just after the lucky buff runs out. It also has vorpal weapon. It also deals more damage to taken. It also has nigh infinite range because most of the damage is loaded into the explosion. It also has so little recoil that it shoots like a laser and also hip firing is pretty accurate and doesn't get much bigger. I haven't checked the numbers but it also feels like literally the stickiest gun in the entire game except maybe last word.
Only downside is how much of a pain in the arse it is to get

Wardens ends up doing nearly the same amount of damage and it’s not exotic
Wardens law does like 60K more damage, a good roll has a bit of more range than malfeasance, the explosions from malfeasance don't escalate with the buff from lucky pants, and it wastes an exotic slot, it is good if you don't have a good wardens law, but wardens law is just better in any other instance that is not taken
My favorite is last word lucky pants. (For fun, not DPS). The buff lasts just long enough to get two full cylinders aka 16 shots off due to how fast it fires.
I had a enlightened action vorpal - it's pretty sweet with apended and extended as mag options

Same. Took a break before wardens law, came back the week after it was in rotation and ran 5 master plus some expert week 1 and still no wardens law.😢
malfeasance is still better if the target is taken or shot by witherhoard

Frenzy perk is pretty good too, 15% dmg buff, 100 reload and handling while active
I tried this most of the time you can’t get frenzy to proc during the lucky pants buff

As much as I like vorpal and lucky pants combos, I actually prefer the enlightened action and frenzy roll. You only lose 5 percent damage and as long as you have 22-24 shots to work with you’ll still get through the lucky pants duration.
That makes no sense how you going like doing least damage 😂
I get you bro. I have both rolls and the enlightened frenzy goes hard against everything while the other is purely for melting higher health targets.
@@thundergod3328 I like it bc of the better reload and versatility. FTtC is redundant bc my mag perk combined with adept mag gives me enough bullets to fully benefit from lucky pants. I like frenzy bc it’s effective against everything and not losing that much damage. I also like to use my hand cannon as a primary and not treat it like a special weapon.

Ye NO it's far from perfect. But still a good roll. Technically you can fire 23(22) shots for the DMG buff, so mag of 24 is perfect. If you get more then that, you keep firing without the buff, that's not perfect my dude
Take adept mag off and just use adept reload. Having the mag perk alone with FTTC will keep you firing for the entire Lucky Pants duration. Putting adept mag just mean you have a gun that takes 10 years to reload plus take another 5 years to ready/stow/ADS…
Walking vigil is by far the best handcannon, it looks awesome and it's unique perk allows you to fire infinite bullets. (Run out of bullets, switch your other weapon, kill some bad guys and waking vigil will reload automatically)Further more it's like the easiest weapon to obtain, also who tf uses automatic hand canon's, that's a disgrace to humanity.
It's not even close to being the best lay off the meth 😂😂 dogshit weapon that no one uses for a reason. Ace of spades is a better choice and it's a PVP weapon that wastes the exotic slot 💀
Frenzy is better than vorpal if you’re gonna main wardens law for more than just boss damage guys remember that. A 5% damage loss isn’t super crazy of a loss when you can reload the thing far more easily and do 15% damage against all enemies and not just majors and bosses

Why do people use fourth times? There is literally no reason whatsoever for this combo. You are getting out maybe 18 shots which the base gun has.
Actually it’s not the best, Mahees is better as it is void and so can work with edge transit (at the cost of a tiny bit of damage from the HC)
Isn’t adept mag dogshit compared to backup mag since they do the same thing and you don’t sacrifice handling
24 in the mag is all you need to get the full benefit of Lucky Pants. So, yeah, waste of a perk imo.

malfeasance is a good option as well.
I think the benefit of malfeasance is that the explosions are always crits after 5 slug rounds if the bosses crit spots are blocked, whereas the warden laws only outperforms granted the crit locations aren’t harder to maintain

For everyone saying that englightend action and frenzy is better and that FTTC is a wasted perk, if you use frenzy then enlightened action is also a wasted perk. Frenzy maxes out your handling and range, making EA do absolutely nothing. Demo Frenzy is the way to go imo

Tbh i have 2 god-rolls im happy with. 4th + Vorpal with Extended mag + hammer forge and range masterwork with swapoff accurized rounds for i believe 91 range on it. Ideal boss killer.
I also have a 4th + frenzy roll also with extended mag. Ideal daily driver for hand cannon shenanigans because of the 15% damage buff you get for constantly being in combat + it maxes out your handling/reload to offset extended mags reload time.
Fourth Times / Vorpal with 20 - 22 rounds will be empty right when the LP buff ends - until Bungie removes the handling penalty from Adept Backup Mag, you actually get more benefit from the standard Backup Mag mod instead.
Crimson still works better for this build, I've done the DPS statistics crimson is the hand cannon to use for Lucky pants

This weapon with this roll was my first ever adept weapon from a GM. Apparently I was insanely lucky at the time, because I randomly joined a group in LFG, they were farming Lake of Shadows and this thing dropped for me. No need to say how angry the other two teammates were when they saw my roll haha. I stayed with them for like 5 runs and now we are buddies in GMs snd dungeons

I really do not see the use of lucky pants and a hand gun. Seems useless to me and fake. There are enough better options or rather said things that properly work
You don't see the use of using one of the best damage rotations in the game? There aren't better options when this was literally the number one DPS until the nerf, and even now it's still up there.
Always sort of felt like having 20 or more ammo for this is too much since lucky buff runs out before you can finish the whole magazine. Use this for boss damage and malfeasance for more general ad clear/taken enemies
Even withouth adept backup mag this roll can shoot through all the 10 seconds of the buff, I know because I have the same one, backup mag and small bore, at this point is better to either have better handling or better range
I personally like Malfeasance more. Yes, Wardens Law technically does better damage but that's only by a little bit and you have to aim perfectly for that. Malfeasance is easier to use, more fun and i think just better because it's more reliable

Optative with Lucky Pants and Volatile Rounds in a fire team is endless bullets. The origin traits 3x your mag for free with a team.
I had the same adept roll except the mag. I remember it was the nightfall weapon during the Craftening, and I had just started doing GMs

If you use overload hand cannons you get to the 10x faster and more bullets count to 10x damage😊

you can try enlightment action instead of 4th times the charm and it does only a 5% less DPS, but helps you more in other activities
