Shes a good little helper, she keeps me company hahaha. I honestly have no idea where the previous owner got those other shocks but Im so happy that I swapped them out for the new ones, even if it was at the expense of my finger.
Could be depending on the blow by situation however, further diagnosis is need man. Something as simple as a bod PMD or even bad glow plugs can cause a hard start. No use doing a rebuild if you don't have to.

Where do you get those tow mirrors for the OBS Chevys ?
Both of my 1999 Suburbans came with that type of mirror.. try searching that.. both sets were Electric
Ebay is where I got them, once they arrived at my house I sanded them down and painted them. If you want I can find a link for you and post it here
