My heart broke for Cheslin Kolbe when he was sitting there and couldn't bring himself to watch the last 8 mins of the game. It was his birthday that day too. But what a fantastic birthday present at the end of the day. I just felt so bad for him in those last few mins.

Before this third and final Ruby World Cup 2023, we had won both of our previous games by a single point, which is something that no nation, including South Africa, could have replicated.
Springboks have demonstrated their ability to defend and compete for a gold medal. They are family, not just a team.
Congratulations Springboks for winning the #RugbyWorldCup2023 against The All Blacks.

Morale is so low in the country right now, we really needed this. This sport is a glue that brings the nation together. Our country may suck at a whole list of stuff, from keeping the lights on to civil services, but THIS is the one thing we are really world class at. We ARE the best team. Not because we are arrogant but because we set records, and never EVER give up. And the rest of the world fears us. That is why they boo us in the stadium because they KNOW we are the best and they want us eliminated so their own teams won't have to face us. In an interview one of the Kiwi team representatives even said, facing England would have been much easier because they are intimidated by the All Blacks team reputation. The Springboks are not. Not only are we not intimidated by them, but we relish winning them. They fear us. The team that is feared by the whole of the rest of the world, fears US! That deserves respect.

Man, that place had such an awesome vibe. You could tell everyone was having a blast during the finals and I'm stoked that we clinched our 4th World Cup victory. We came in with a rock solid game plan and it totally paid off. Our defense was on point. We owned the first half but the second half got a bit dicey. New Zealand really upped their game even with just 14 players and it looked like they might pull off an upset against us. But we held our ground and the match was super intense. It could've gone either way. Mad props to New Zealand; they're still top notch. They've got that flair and I gotta give them credit. 🔥🔥👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽

Siya Kolisi's tackle wasn't upgraded to a red because of one primary factor, this being the fact that the contact was shoulder to shoulder. Of course, shoulder contact is still considered a high tackle, just not nearly as dangerous as Sam Cane's tackle (the all black player that got a red card) which was shoulder to head. If Sam Cane hadn't made that tackle, I suspect New Zealand would've added a fourth rugby world cup to their name.
For a future video, I'd recommend Jonah Lomu highlights, arguably the goat of rugby, certainly the best winger of all time. I don't want to give to much away but i'd love to see you react to this.
To answer one of your questions, why did the south african winger, Cheslin Kolbe get the yellow card in the final 10 minutes? There's a rule that you can't knock the ball on if it's considered on purpose, or in this case go for the ball when you have no chance of catching it.

The Rugby Law that gave Kolbe a yellow card was that "deliberately knocked the ball forward". Its a tough rule but it makes the game interesting and cuts out any unsporting or ugly slowing down of the game.
No matter what, if you put one hand out without a "realistic chance of catching it", its 10 minutes in the sin bin for you!
As a young South African about to start traveling a bit of the world while I can, I believe your chanel will be a special way for me to see my beautiful country through the eyes of someone blessed to be experiencing it for the first time!

Rugby players need the protection because there is no protective gear like the NFL. I think you are going to be really great with the game bro. I also agree with your observation on the Siya yellow card. Slightly harsh but its done to protect the players. If we had lost, you would have experienced 60 million people in a depression. We South Africans are terrible losers. We really cant take a loss we all slumber in a state of perpertual depression but in the same vain we celebrate wins till kingdom come. About Kolby getting a yellow card it was because you not allowed to intercept a ball by slapping it away (unless its backwads towards your own players).

    Off topic:
If there is anyone who would like to have a relationship with God, kindly do the following: 😊😊😊😇😇
    1. Pray the following prayer.
    2. Pray this prayer willingly, genuinely, and wholeheartedly.
    3. Pray this prayer out loud.
    Here is the prayer:
    “Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank you for laying Your life on the cross for my sins. I ask you to forgive me. Come into my life. I receive You as my Lord and Saviour. I confess with my mouth that You are Lord. And I believe in my heart that God raised You from the grave. Now, guide me to live for You the rest of my life.
In the Name of Jesus Christ, I pray.
    Amen.”
The preceding is what you need to do to have a relationship with God. Strongly and kindly consider doing it. Thank you. 😊😊😇😇😇

It's a professional foul, it disrupts the motion of the game if everyone just knocks the ball out of play or knocks it forward. There has to be genuine reach by the player with two hands for it not be considered a professional/intentional foul. Cheslin took one for the team basically lol cause if that pass went thru, we lose😂

    Great Game!! Go Springboks!💚💛💚💛
The Kolbe yellow card was a very unfortunate thing, but credit to the ref, it was fair. The rules state that if a player knocks-on the ball (meaning the ball goes forward in play, with contact with another player or the ground) and the player didn't make an attempt to catch it (like an interception), the a yellow card of foul play is given. Unfortunately, Kolbe meant no ill intent but rules are rules. Shout-out to Cheslin Kolbe though, a mega match from him ...and it was his birthday that day!!!

The Cheslin Kolbe yellow card is for deliberately knocking the ball down.
So in rugby you cannot knock a ball down (the ball was meant to go to a New Zealand player, which he prevent ed, by knocking it). If he had cought if or knocked it back wards, it would have been ok. ❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😂😂😂😂

That yellow card for Chelsin was for a deliberate knock on , if u intercept u must catch the ball

The fourth (Colbe) was for a deliberate knock-on.
It is deemed a cynical play, in that if the ball was passed on to the next NZ player, they had a great chance of scoring a try due to the numbers in overlap.
What he should have done was hold on to the ball (intercept), as that is deemed a legitimate play.

Chezlin got the yellow card for a deliberate knock on. So if you defending and you stick your hand out or prevent the attackkng team from making a pass as the way he did, its preventing the team attacking which is seen as a deliberate knock on. Which means yellow card 10 minutes in the 'Sin Bin' 😅😂

6:46 the defending player may not impede play by senselessly disrupting play. When defending you choose to either play the ball(try to intercept pass) or takle the attacking player. You are not allowed to slap at the ball just to stop play because the aim of rugby is to keep the ball moving as much as possible till one team scored a try the we restart. By slaping down you might be delibiretly stopping play because the attacking team created the overlap on the outside. The flow of the game is on defence we build a active barrier to not have an overlap and on attack it's crashing rucks to get defenders to commit with the hope it gives you attacking opportunities like cross kick, spreading the ball to the winger where they dance with defenders or get your no.10 close enough to attempt a dropgoal. The game has had to evolve because the smaller teams started using stops in play as a way to stop bigger teams from getting momentum. Games lost the running rugby that it originated as an became a kicking game. Now they foul you from senselessly impeding play if your not trying to make magic happen. Thanks for coming to my TEDtalk. Hope to see you all soon. 😂

Cricket is better watched by the highlights imo. The games can get intense at times, but mostly its just ppl standing around a whole lot waiting for a ball 😅😴. But if you can get ibto it you'll have a whole nother sub genre of loyal followers so good luck 🤞

Fun fact, their winger Mark Telea, number 11, is half South African and he is the one AB player that kept us on the edge of our seats whenever he got the ball.
Reminded me of Joe Rokocoko and Jonah Lomu.

    Colbie's Yellow Card.
Causing the ball to go forward with you hands is illegal. Doing so accidentally is a minor infraction resulting in the other team putting the ball into the Scrum.
Doing it intentionally is a penalty resulting in a kick.
Cynical play of any type (committing an illegal act with the intention of interrupting positive play) usually results in a Yellow Card.
It us very RARE that knocking the ball on in that situation does not result in a Yellow.
This isn't American Football and Colbie is not a Cornerback.

The yellow card for Cheslin Kolbe was because of a deliberate knockdown, when going for an interception you have to actually go for the ball with intent, in this case Kolbe did not go for the ball with that intent and thats why he was sent off.

Absolutely GUTTED for the Mighty All Blacks just losing to South Africa by 1 point! My eyes is leaking with tears. But fair play to South Africa, for staying in the fight against a highly dangerous All-Black side and it paid off for them.
    Terrible officiating by the TMO!
