来年から大工になる物なのですが、8分と1寸の鑿で良い物を探しています。田斎と海弘などたくさんありますがどの鑿がいいと思いますか？教えていただけたら幸いです。

やめられたので手に入りづらいとは思います。

好みとしては
薄い、地金が柔らかい、鋼が硬い、形が綺麗、といったモノです。
地金や鋼は使って研いで比べないとわからないんですよね。
とりあえず3000円くらいの安鑿で研ぐ練習をしておいて、親方に薦められるのを買うのがいいと思いますよ。

十分ですか？
8分だけでいいと思いますよ。
鑿幅が変わると研ぎ心地も使い心地もかなり変わります。
細い鑿も太い鑿も割と難しいんですよね。
