My favorites are "Death And The Healing", "Sleeping Stars", "Sons of Winter and Stars", "Land of Snow And Sorrow", "Loneliness (Winter)", "Starchild" and "Eternal Darkness (Autumn)".
My favourite song is the Wintersun discography. But yeah..this one and Loneliness bring tears to my eyes...everytime....and I listen to them everyday. It's therapy, really. I never cared for vocals or lyrics but Jari has changed that for me. The man is a genius and he should have all the funding to put out all the albums he's already written (apparently he's got lots). The only tragedy is they only have 3 albums out.
Despite the fact of Sons of Winter and Stars existence, I still tend to consider this song my absolute favorite of all time. What Jari did here with the vocals is beyond words (and now you can hear it yourself listening to vocal track alone). The arrangement sounds like it's angels themselves playing the strings of heavens with rays of sunlight. Deserves a music video directed by Peter Jackson. But this will never happen and all that's left is to picture it all in your mind.

People say that Wintersun's self titled album is better than Time I. However, I beg to differ. While Wintersun is a brilliant and technical metal album, Time I touches the soul and takes it to a higher plane of existence. It keeps us longing for more with every plucked string. It makes us glad that we exist in the same "Time" as Wintersun and Jari. Cheers from the biggest Indian fan. P.S. I found out Wintersun from 9GAG. :P

It's improved (remastered, not 1.0) but not the final version (not 2.0). Probably the album will be remixed/partly re-recorded when Time II is released.
The music is perfect, the singing is perfect, but the song I don't know, I might be bad at this but does it actually have rhymes and such? seems a bit like a random ramble about a cold place. For example "The land of snow and sorrow - will carry me away from the cold" doesn't hit me like an epic verse, doesn't make a lot of sense actually.

This is a song about Tuonela. And the rhymes in here are one of the best I've ever encountered.
