Great video. My battery just died on season 3. We were on a ride two hours from home. Glad I had my jump pack. Was convenient but my day wasn’t destroyed.
For the straps. I love the straps you have. They were the best until I got the retractable ones that bolt on to the trailer. “Boat buckle aka imin or something like that.” 2 in ones are stainless one inch are not. But two inch are too big. They are so fast and convenient and zero issues on year 2. When I was the ski I always rinse off the retractable straps. Get them you can bolt them on to the new trailer too.

Best advice ever for installation, hook strap first, then slide battery in. Thank you

Great video. I've been using straps for the last three years. You'll want to tuck the extra slack underneath the Velcro too. This prevents it from flapping and ensures a tighter fit.

We once met a guy at the ramp who was not able to get his ski off the trailer because his ratchet straps completely ceased from saltwater corrosion. He had to drive back home to get those straps cut and removed.
The WavesRx transom straps are so much easier to use. I had mine for over 3 years now and they still work perfectly.

Great Video - I place the battery connection cubes in after placing the nw battery in its base. I love the contact grease suggestion. I hate the design of these connectors.

Your comments about straps intrigued me... why is salt water getting on your straps? Why is any water getting on your straps? I would think you remove the straps before getting in the water and once you get home before washing off. I dont use straps unless i am traveling a distance - my local ramp is 3 just miles away. So i cant relate, but just thinking about it. Great videos - you guys are doing good stuff.

Run off after riding and commuting. My closest ramp is about 10 miles but requires traveling at highway speeds so I just keep it safe. We also do quite a bit of long distance travel so we rely on them alot. Thanks for the feedback on the videos, I truly appreciate you!

I’ve been looking for a video how to replace the battery and this is literally the only one for my model, and you cut out the part I needed 🙃 I’ve never changed a battery and have no idea how to connect the battery tender to the battery, and I can’t find anything online. It’s not clear if you put the positive side of the tender with the red thicker positive cord, or only connected the black negative. If I’m watching a battery change video I want to know about the battery connections…not the ratchet straps.

Red to red black to black red is + black is negative. Not that hard it’s like that on any vehicle. The tender adapter attaches the same way onto the battery post. Red to + black to -

My 2021 GTI SE 170 factory Haiju battery died right at 2 years. My 2007 GTI SE 155 battery dies every 2 years, and i still use the OE YUASA quality battery. I dont use a tender, but ride every 6-8 weeks year round and use a charger the day before i ride. I dont know why batteries dont last longer on Seadoos. I wonder if Yamaha and Kawasaki are similar? My YUASA battery on my 2007 Yamaha scooter was 5 years old and i replaced it just because it was getting old, but i ride that almost daily. I wonder if i rode my Seadoo daily if the battery would last longer? I just dont get it.

I am wondering it has to do with all the electronics. Audio, IBR etc, putting more strain on the battery.
