Teddy Taylor was the MP for my area and for the 1970 election he had his office around the corner from me in Belleisle street. Me and my mates got paid to hand out his leaflets on polling day. Thanks for another great video Colin.
I like seeing all the ordinary people and wondering what stories they could tell about life in Glasgow all these years ago. Just a thought.. like many others of my day, I was a member of the Boys' Brigade. It was a big organization and was founded in Glasgow in 1883. Have you come across any photos of BB activities in Glasgow? There were often parades in the streets. In fact I remember a big event in 1962 when Princess Margaret came to Ibrox and we all paraed there to see her. Something like that.
The usual great pictures & memories of safer times in Glasgow & surrounding areas.
Thanks for sharing..👍👍
Thank you.

Thank you, Teddy Taylor along with Tam Dalyell and Roseanna Cunningham was one of the few politicians to speak the truth about the Lockerbie Bombing.
Way back when it was Glasgow, now its a total dangerous dive
The world has changed...and not for the better.
Isla St Clair still with us bless
