    Yet again fantastic pictures of this great city & loads of memories of how the place used to be, no vandalism, graffiti and always kept clean ..

    Apart from the historical and social interest, so many of these photos are classics in themselves. "Every picture tells a story", as they say. My favourite this week is the very last one with the "wee boy" absorbed in his comic while the rain is pouring down and his umbrella that is meant to be protecting him is in tatters! There's so much to think about in this photo. As always, much appreciation for your efforts, Colin!

    Once again an amazing set of photos. I remember going to the Scout Gang shows in the '60's. Look forward to these every week, keep up the good work.

    Fantastic again , I remember (too young to go to a show) everyone talked about Robert halpren .

    Great stuff Colin. I was at that Scotland v England game in 1972. I think we lost. I was going to correct you about Morrison street because it is in Tradeston but I checked an old map which does also show a Morrison street in Govan. For some reason it was renamed to Burleigh street. The tenements and shops are still there and are still numbered the same as the old photo.

      Thanks again...I was also at one of the Scotland v England games in the early 70s, though I can't remember the exact year.
