About twenty five years ago I worked in Drumchapel bricking up windows in flats that were due to be demolished. We had a retired bricklayer helping us and he remarked on how time flies. “I built these flats when I was a young man and now I’m back to help tear them down .”
Dunno why am nostalgic for this place but it's where I grew up - across from the linkwood pub, went to broadholm primary, ended up getting a house in no #1 scheme lol.. still got auld pals fae back then & there pals for life! Hoose a grew up in was demolish in 90's same with both achools (new drummy high was built) The Drum!
