I love this musical so much, but there's one thing I don't understand. He clearly says that the thing he has isn't a bomb, it just sets off the bombs in the gym, so how does he kill himself with it and how does it not set of the others when he kills himself with it???
I think he meant that the bomb couldn't blow up the school on its own. It still blew up, but it was hardly anything compared to the shit in the gym. It was just the trigger, I guess.
I think that that one bomb could explode a person but its purpose originally was to set off the rest of the bombs. So one explosion would trigger the others.....

I don't know if anyone else has commented on this, but I love how the color of the background constantly changes to match the mood and intensity. I especially noticed it near the end, where there seems to be hope for a moment (illustrated by a lighter background), only for it all to go red at the line "I wish I had more TNT". Keep up the great work!

I've always thought his bomb was not large enough to set fire to the school, but the shock/impact of the explosion is big enough to kill someone.
