the way i like to interpret this song is that JD'S plan of blowing up the school actually worked, and the entire school is in heaven singing about how they'll always stay 17 and act like it too. the amount of references to childhood make it seem like they'll never grow old and they regret acting older and now that they died, they'll never grow up.
I like to imagine at the end of the song, after they finish singing, there's this long awkward silence, and then somebody says, "So we all need therapy now" And everybody's like "yep mhm definitely"

JD STILL HAPPENED. 4 people still died, and 2 people still tried to kill themselves. A weird yet kinda cool thing I would add to the part where Veronica says “I can’t promise no more Heathers” would show a brief montage of the Plastics from Mean Girls, since their film is set in the 2000s while Heathers is in the 80s. It would connect the two films by adding depth to Veronica’s line where after one popular girl group falls, another will always rise to take its place.
I can honestly say this is my favorite Seventeen Reprise animatic. I'm in love with how much more power you add to their emotions, yet not to the point where you're exaggerating and scaring me off. This should have way more views

I honestly like how you added the last remaining Heathers to Veronica and Martha’s friend group especially since Martha is forgiving Veronica for ditching her to be a part of a popular clique. Bullying is horrible but being deserted and backstabbed by the closest and only friend that you have hurts far worse. If anything can be learned from Heathers it’s that, all (healthy) relationships no matter what type need perfect acceptance of an imperfect person.
