This is actually really sad and shows that Veronica loved him. She loved him but knew that life turned him into a monster and there was nothing she could do about it.
She also says "no one here deserves to die except for me and the monster I created" wich shows that she blames herself for what JD did. Even though you could only blame her for heathers murder, she was manipulated into the others. Apart from the fact that she wasn't responsible for JD being a psychopath

Wow, the way you used to draw Veronika and the way you draw her now shows massive improvement and change.
Exactly, no offense- it's just my opinipn, but I prefer her old style to be honest. This style somehow reminds me more of Steven Universe.
It's just me, but I really do like her old art style. I'm still proud of the improvements though.

To be honest, I'm like 50% happy and sad. Happy because her animatic IMPROVED A HECK TON. Sad because I just miss her old style. Just imagine, if you put her old animatic style and her present way of animating, it's perfection.

Countess Prosper yeah, her new style really reminds me more of Steven Universe, especially the nose and eyes. What is special about her old drawing style was the cuteness, the big eyes, no nose and all. Once you see a picture of that kind of style, you will instantly know it was EFA's work.
Yeah I definitely agree. I really liked her old style and I feel like it conveyed emotions really well, and I’ve also noticed that in this new style all the characters are way flatter and skinnier. I really liked Veronica’s body shape and it seems FA changed it completely-took out every trace of curves. Tragic

-Ronnie actually looks like she's kind of happy about how much her words are hurting him at first
-and she looks so sassy at "I wish your mom had been a little stronger" I'm dead
-for a brief moment the dynamic switches and he's the one feeling fear and she's the one causing fear and man does she feel good-but the moment is over and it comes back to how it used to be, she's the vulnerable one who's Feeling those Feelings and you can straight up see how quickly he realises that and resorts to violence
-either you're super good at conveying nuanced feelings with body language or I'm super good at overanalyzing
-but you can SEE it in the mallet alone-when he's giving his speech she's holding it out, in full defense mode, clearly terrified, then she droops briefly like all hope is lost, all while he seems confident and you can clearly see he's long lost his grip on reality. Then, as she starts singing, she goes into offense mode, holding the mallet confidently, waiting not to be attacked, but to attack, while he basically shrinks. Then she drops it, leaving herself defenseless, and he soon takes advantage of that
-her eyes start glowing when his stop, it's like she stops fearing him and takes his power away-great metaphor, you're doing amazing sweetie

I really like how you portrayed JD's realization of Veronica being alive. Just because a lot of other people kinda just make it seem like it's no big deal, and he kinda just shrugs it off. I think it's cooler to have him have that moment of "Wait, what?" and then the mixed emotion (like you had) tho.

I remember the original five or so Heathers animatics you did, and they still are good. But this? This shows growth. I really like how when "Dead Girl Walking" is said Macnamera is also onscreen and focused upon on too since if it weren't for Veronica she'd be dead, so technically she's a dead girl walking. It's a really nice contrast with how Veronica thinks that she is _going to_ die in the future events that will occur whereas Macnamera _almost_ died in the past events that have already occured. Also that bit of Duke at the end was *_s u p e r n e a t_* , the character designs themselves are also *_v e r y n e a t_* . Thank you for this blessing upon the world 👌👌
