Love the story & gorgeously-drawn art! I think that the story is protrayed as realistic and heartbreaking since it delved into mature themes of childhood trauma, stardom, young adulthood, and the most obvious..escapism. I think that the reason why the mc gets herself into a pointless relationship (I assume?), partying, craving for attention with the use of her outer charisma and fame as a popstar is because of the past influence of her childhood trauma as a child who had to go through her parents' lack of love for each other, which ultimately led to their divorce and the father abandoning his daughter. Because of this, I think that the reason why the mc is in a loveless relationship with the brown-haired guy that I assume is her boyfriend/sexual partner is because she is using that as a coping mechanism for her to get over her father, probably wanting someone who can make her feel good about herself with the lack of the father figure she had since early childhood, even if she knows very well that the guy she hooks up or is in a relationship with doesn’t care for her and probably only uses her as a source of control and lust. Overall, this is the best and most realistic animatic I've ever came across from UA-cam and is truly an underrated gem to find! I hope this animatic will be able to get more views and recognition. I would love to see a video essay on it

Your transitions with the beat drops were SO GOOD!! Having her leave the bathroom and suddenly be in performing garb, AND having her snatch the alcohol-I was so impressed with the timing and speed in the animation that reflected the change in the music. Love it!!

This was so awesome. I'd read a full webcomic or watch a show. Just sayin'. The story is very well told and I really like that she ended up ending this superficial relationship with a guy she didn't seem to particularly care for (perhaps she was with him because of social status?) for this woman she actually seemed to enjoy herself and feel like she could be herself with.
It's fun to see more outwardly bubbly party girl characters shown as deep, complex characters. She has trauma and abandonment issues and is dealing with it by trying to mask it with alcohol and partying. I also love the tats.

I appreciate the visual story telling! The flashback/dream sequences tell us a lot about the protagonist's internal conflicts about her dad and how she dreams about being with that woman. I like how the SA was only implied and never explicit, i haven't experienced anything like that but it seems very respectful to survivors.
Overall love how you interpreted this song with illustrations, not only did it get me hooked on this character's story, but it's also very beautifully drawn!

Also an absolutely incredible depiction of trauma and flashbacks and how memories can seem to pop up out of nowhere. Memories that you’ve shoved down and repressed for your whole life. I’ve been going through that recently and damn this was such an amazing show of how it feels.

@@angelgon06 Thank you!! First of all, nope, she does not know it! She just likes her music, that's why they are there. Not even the father recognized her until they met at the concert 🥰 The father and the mother had a young marriage and Hana at a young age, due to tradition since they were both from Japan and the mother became pregnant on accident. The affair was a way to escape the marriage as he didn't want "his life to end" at such a young age (he was 22 when Hana was born), that's why he also cut ties with her and his ex-wife! Hope that answers the question 🥰🥰
