- Today we install this triple monitor monitor stand on my standing desk. This monitor mount is fully adjustable and supports monitors up to 17.6lbs in weight. The MOUNTUP Triple Monitor Arm can be found on Amazon for about $75 -$95. It's a great investment that can be considered budget-friendly in comparison to it's competitors.

@Brock Klawiter I have two ASUS ROG PG248Q's - amzn.to/3vyMWYY (don't think they're actively making these anymore),
and one ASUS VS247.
If you use this mount with 3 27in monitors, the left and right monitor WILL NOT be able to be angled inwards. Beware.
My questionable thoughts exactly
Great details and setup, thank you for the run down!
No problem!
Just ordered one for my triple monitor setup in my work office
This is perfect. Thanks for the review!
Not a problem 🤙🏼
Now I know what I need to boost my dual/triple monitor setup. This is going on my wishlist. 💯
thank you this was helpful too
Very helpful. Just bought a new house and redoing my WFH office. Picked up a new monitor and looking to bring a 3 monitor set up online. Will look into this!
Sweet! No complaints with this one. Triple monitors and monitor arm definitely a good upgrade 👍🏼
@@MichaelGatesYT after a little more digging seems my monitors are a little too big (29”) and don’t support the normal mounting options. The search continues!
3 single monitor mounts 🔛🔝
365 Degrees huh.. do they tilt 24/7? haha Awesome video! I appreciate the nice video review!
😅
i've had 3 monitors for ~2 years and they're sweet, they just have huge square stands so need one of these.
It’s well worth it. Even for 1 or 2 monitors, don’t think I could go without a mount now!
The cable management sliding trays are a pain to deal with. Mine are currently stuck and there is no sign I’ll be able to get them unattached
Weird question.. is it possible to place to monitor in the middel? The left arm going up over the middle monitor? and one on the right in up right position?
I have the exact triple mount. I set it up and now I can't remove the covers for wire management under the right arm. There's very little space to slide the covers out without cutting into the monitor's wire. Any suggestions?
This has been my problem with these, my vision!! I wanted to clear desk space, but find they are too far back, and when I move them forward, then it’s about defeated the intention of giving me clear desk space because they are only elevated, moved forward. I hope this makes sense. I’m trying to figure out a better set up
Totally get that. I’ve considered going back down to two monitors. The arm helps clear up space but still can feel pretty crowded with so many monitors. Hope you find something that works better for you!
Thank you for the review. What kind of backing do I need, but some of my monitor's backside is smooth.
If you're referring to the mounts, the VESA mounts come with the arm and generally fit most monitors. Hope this helps
@@MichaelGatesYT Yes it does, thank you so much Michael :-)
i have a heavy 32" monitor for the middle. will this work? great video!
Might not work with this monitor mount specifically as it’s designed for up to 27”, but I bet you could find another for your 32”.
Nice video. How low could you get the left and right monitors while in landscape mode to the table?
on my setup, I can easily get the right monitor to touch the table
Heyy, awsome video! I got a question can u use 3x27 curved monitors and get a smooth round curve?
I personally haven’t tested this. I have 24s. I’d double check the amazon listing specs and maybe some reviews to see if anyone else has made this work 👍🏼
There are 4 quatuors of screws we can pick from to screw the mount to the monitor. How do I know which one to use? I've tried all combinations in the manual so far and nothing works
I'm wondering, with your current setup, are you able to adjust those two side monitors in front of the center monitor? I am wanting to have a two computer setup, but only one computer will be used at a time. Husband/wife scenario. Gaming at night, work in the day. Thanks in advance.
I think the center monitor would be too wide to adjust the side monitors so they sit in front of the center one. The arm wouldn’t be able to get around it😕
I ended up cracking the screen on one of my monitors and putting a hole in my desk because I fucked up and didn’t think to remove the monitors before taking the whole thing off my desk to readjust the clamp. But at least I have more desk space now, right?
I would rather have one that makes the center mount higher above the two side monitors to run the sides as main and the center above them as the non-main. Thanks tho
How did u get the monitor to go vertical? I’m having some trouble with that someone pls help
does this arm setup allow for a single monitor up top above 2 side by side monitors
365 degrees of movement..LOL
😅
Hello, thanks to share. With the time the monitor's weight tends to put them down? Like the monitor starts to descend with gravity?
I have not experienced this personally. Mine are still holding up pretty strong
Does this fit with the Sony Inzone monitor
Are you still using this mount currently? If so, how is it holding up? Is there a noticeable wobble to the mount during daily use?
Still using it! It’s been great so far. No real issues with wobbling but I think it highly depends on how stable your desk is.
How does this mount do when raised? I've seen some wobbling issues with other mounts once raised
There’s definitely a little bit of wobble when the two side monitors are raised, but it’s not too bad as long as your desk itself is fairly stable. I’ve got a solid core door as a table top and a metal standing desk frame as the legs for reference.
will this work with a 32in? i have a 32, 27 and 24?
any solutions on the swiveling? some of my monitors arent really straight, theyre kinda leaned somewhere.
Definitely not perfect as mine are a little off center as well, but I also have two different types of monitors that wouldn’t line up perfectly anyway
Really useful review, thank you.
I have a question, here it says they have a maximum weight capacity of 15.4 lb, would this be per arm or in total? I'm planning on installing 3x 27" monitors, but each weighs 8 lb so now I have that question.
I'm sorry if this may be an stupid question/obvious answer.
This specific one has a max lb capacity of ~19lbs each arm
@@TTV_Bluee56 Thank you!
I actually bought the arm a few months ago because it was on sale but didn't get the monitors until last week and didn't install them until literally yesterday lol.
They're supposed to be ~11 lb so my monitors should be fine.
@@eefm99 glad i could help!!!
Thanks for the review! I'm looking into buying the third monitor and I'm looking for mounts. Is it possible to have 2 monitor setup as landscape on top of each other and another one portrait next to them? This would really help me out! Thanks a lot!
I don't think it's possible with this mount 😕
Hey! Were you able to find a solution to this? I'm trying to get the same monitor orientation.
How would this go on a corner desk? will the side arms span out far enough? Especially for 27's. Thinking to get this and upgrade from 24's to 27s
same here did u end up getting it?
Hey, I didn't end up getting it yet. Still haven't decided to go 27" yet@@ifavo
Can you adjust the height of the base arms or do they have to sit at the base?
Yes. The base of the arms sit on a piece that can slide up/down the main pole of the mount
Is it sturdy? Do the screen’s shake or move if you bump the desk?
It’s pretty sturdy. They stay in their positions. You can expect a little screen shake when bumping the desk. I don’t have much of an issue with this anymore since I upgraded to a heavier desk
I've used this stand for the past year, it's good...but my issue is you can move the middle monitor further away towards back. On a desk that isn't super deep like mine I lost a out 1/3 desktop space.
My solution was to order 3 single monitor arms. That way they are fully adjustable, all 3 screens actually sit snug against each other and have full use of my desktop space minus maybe 3 inches at back.
Sounds like an awesome setup
@@MichaelGatesYT I'm liking it. The mount in your video I got for my old desk and worked great there, just not on my I have now. Same length just a lil small front to back.
Only issue I had on the mount up kit was the side arms moved to easily for my 3 asus 27" IPS screens. I'm kind of ocd on my screen bezels meeting up perfect.
@@markrogers7304 what’s the depth of your desk now and what do you think is recommended for me? I’m looking for a new desk
@@collisiongaming4059 so with the 3 single arms clamped on a 26" depth desk I only lose 3". That from the front of my monitor bezel to end you sit at. Before with the mount in vid I was loosing roughly 7" of space, just enough comfortable space for keyboard but looked cluttered. The 3 single arms are must more stable, easier to adjust, and gives most of my desk back.
The ones I got were on Amazon, the name are North Bridge F80. Fully adjustable but they are only rated for I think up to 30" monitors, no issue with my 27" tho. Best I remember they are around $30 each, 3 were about the same price I paid for the Mount Up triple stand.
@@collisiongaming4059 Sorry I really misread what you were asking, sorry about that. My desk is 26" deep but only 50" long. About a 1/4 of the side monitors hang off the side but It doesnt bother me. My desk is more of a DIY setup that I made so I cant really recommend a brand.
But my desk is an open desk, no shelving, trays, sides or back. I wanted really basic.
hello, ive got a setup in mind and im wondering if it could fit with this triple arm. it is a 32inch monitor in the middle and 2 27 inch on the sides. will it work?
did it work>?
@@ezzyth8824 i have not done it yet. It is not for now.
@@omaromartyx7953 I've found a better solution; you could get 3 individual arms so you dont have to worry about the spacing.
Mine can’t rotate the monitors, I have the same one
Can you adjust the height of the bottom arms like the top one?
The two side arms go up and down pretty much anyway you want them
how is it's reliability do they droop or rise after a while?
haven't experienced any issues with this personally
Hey I have a question I'm really hoping you can help out. I am making an IRACING tripple monitor set up. Above these monitors I'll have an additional monitor. Since above these I will have another screen the bar for the middle monitor concerns me. I plan to run 3 27 inch monitors, or a 32 inch in the middle and 2 27 inches on the side. But will the middle bar portrude up and interfere with the monitor I will have mounted above these 3? Hope I was Clear in my question
Hey John, hopefully this info helps. With the way mine is setup, the middle pole/bar goes up about 17 inches from the table top, and the monitor can move up or down on it. I’m running 24 inch monitors all around so I’m not too sure exactly whether it’ll work with your setup. I think it really depends on how high/low you set the middle monitor on the pole. If you go higher, you can mount the 4th one above it and move the arms up to match. Lower, not so much, bc like you said, the pole would get in the way.
@@MichaelGatesYT thanks for the quick answer, 17 inches should be low enough not to interfere. Thank you for the help and measurement
@@johnsnow228 np 🤘🏼
how big is your desk? i have a problem where my mic stand get in the way of my right monitor and my triple monitor mount seems way too close but i can't move it back at all.
my desk is 65x30
@@MichaelGatesYT thanks heaps man
@@caleun no problem 👌
Does all monitors have the holes in the back? I have Dell monitors and I do not see the holes.
I think most do but I would check the manual that came with your monitor. You might be able to google it as well
This dont support 2 monitors on bottom and 1 on top probably huh? There is a different branded one that almost has same style and it shows in pictures it does so would think this one would but does not seem like it
I don't think it would :/
I have a query, maybe you can help me. I need to buy some support for three monitors. It is for work use and will only be used in a horizontal position. I have two options in view. The MOUNTUP Triple Monitor Stand Mount or the ECHOGEAR ECHO-GM3C. The question I ask myself is which of the 'would have a more closed angle with respect to the central monitor. And I can't understand if with the MOUNTUP I can achieve a layout where the lateral monitors are at a closed angle with respect to the central monitor, without separation between them, like a continuity view.
Do you think this is feasible with the product with the MOUNTUP? Thank you
In my experience, there will probably be a small gap in between each monitor. In other words, probably wont be perfect but it really depends on if all 3 monitors are the same model. Mine are not, which is why I have a harder time aligning them so that there’s no separation. You can get them pretty dang close though. I personally wanted the ability to move them freely so I went with the gas spring arm. Hope this helps some
@@MichaelGatesYT Unfortunately in the country it is impossible to buy on amazon. This product or similar is easily around 750 USD - Thanks a lot.
Can you have 3 27inch monitors horizontal with this arm?.
not sure sry, mine are 24s
I don't understand buying 3 monitors and mounting them such that they have less width than 2.
quick question, what is the size of your desk?
65 x 30 I believe
What are the monitors you are using lol or could you just use what ever monitor you would like
You can use pretty much any monitor. I have two ASUS ROG PG248Q's - amzn.to/3vyMWYY (don't think they're actively making these anymore),
and one ASUS VS247.
@@MichaelGatesYT thanks man btw your setup is sick
@@dimitri5911 thanks 🤙🏼
big enough for 27 inch middle monitor and 24 inch second and 3rd?
Per the Amazon listing, it holds three monitors up to 27” each so your monitors will fit.
365 degrees?
Could you use curved monitors though ??
I haven’t tested this personally but I don’t see why you couldn’t use curved monitors. As long as they aren’t too big
My screw broke off in the monitor 😣
What kind of desk is that?
custom built using a solid core door and several coats of stain.
Price update, the link you provided is $109
it fluctuates

Is it still working?
yup still in use today and works like a charm

@@CB-vk2ou thank you for letting me know
This thing was a piece of shit. Got it for triple 27", and with only 2 monitors on it while trying to figure things out, it was already super unstable and was slipping off my desk. Going to return it and try another one.
Hate to hear it, hope the next one works out better for you
@@MichaelGatesYT Thanks man, gonna order a steel reinforcement plate to go along with it, hopefully it will help with stability. Found one that had two of those clamp fastener things, maybe that will help keep it stable too, and the base is slightly wider. Still looking and deciding which one to get before I order.
price went up to 109 dollars 😢
that sucks 🥺 I got mine around the holiday season so that’s probably why it was cheaper
