I'm psyched that I actually managed to uncover a major secret in a game before anyone else. I'm Oaks from the code hunter discord, and I figured out that pressing a+b at the same time on p2 controls unlocks the 50 microgames in Camponella 3. Of course Aeon got me on the trail in the first place by noticing one of the microgames in the demo reel, along with Petter's dialogue in Miasma tower. The train of thought that led me to trying p2 controller in the first place is that the monitor is utilized by Pilot's sister Isabella to talk to him, so it made sense to me that she would be the one controlling it via a second set of controls. It also seems in her character to goof off and play games instead of paying attention to her brother. As for holding a+b, in the beginning I just mashed stuff and eventually the microgames got triggered. After I knew this was the correct path, it didn't take long to try different button combinations specifically until I landed on holding a+b.
It's really impressive what the team behind UFO 50 has done. They not only managed to make 50 really fun, complete games but they also somehow worked in a meta narrative that spans most of the games. It's really impressive. If you told me my favorite game of 2024 would be a mock NES multi-pack I would have called you crazy but here we are.
I'd like to believe that there's actually 60 games total in the collection, the original 50 and 10 hidden games. This is speculation based entirely on the fact that the console is called the LX - it might be a coincidence, but it seems weird for it to mean nothing. They could've called it anything and they picked something that can be very obviously interpreted as roman numerals.
Figured the game was hiding something like this. It's really cool that this is entirely optional and you can play all 50 games and not even know this exists
when i first started playing ufo 50 i managed to stumble into the hide hole code by complete accident during my first hour of playing and that was extremely satisfying
idk if this is documented anywhere, or what it could possibly relate to, but while playing a normal run of magic garden, i just barely noticed the left text box read "I LOVE YOU JESSICA!" for a second, instead of the normal Saved info. i have no idea what triggered it, either. that's the only curious thing that's happened in my 55 hours of playing UFO 50 so far
Benedikt Chun dedicates several games to Jesca Zarian, who later becomes Jesca Chun! It seems they got married. They even have what seems to be a child, because another game is dedicated to "Jesca and Olive Chun" later on! Good for Benedikt, I say 🥰 You have to read a bunch of credits of various games to put this together but it's a cute little story.
When walking out of bounds in the basement, i somehow warped to the staircase by seemingly getting stuck in the bottom left corner area, is this known? I can't even seem to replicate it
Come on, I feel spoiled just by the title 😭 Please give us some time to catch up, I haven't put 100 hours before the launch (and I almost spent all days playing since it came out)
The trash bags before the helicopter look like same pattern that the ufos in on the text screen. (Maybe touch the trash bags in the ufo pattern only) Just an observation

Insane find, well done bud!
Yo what? There’s 50 more?
sully sullen ergr
Wait, there are 50 microgames inside one of the games? At this point I wouldn't be surprised if one of those microgames had 50 nanogames inside

Favorite game of 2024 is action 52 but good*

That's actually kinda genius if so
The Campanella 3 thing is so sick
A capsule with a future year written on it suggests a time capsule. Perhaps you need to set the system clock to that year?
We've been trying that tonight - no luck on anything useful
@@Alchemagician Might just be a score threshold for the microgames or something then. idk, I'm not really privy to this arg stuff.

It happens if you don't touch anything (oppies or enemies) after a while

@@Alchemagician aww, that's cute. i love the stories of the developers that poke through the facades of the games
There's also this mysterious "Linn" that the phone caller is trying to find out.
I remember the end of bishido ball had a "in memory of" in the credits, dont remember the name
I think you're right, we are working on documenting all the credits and getting things in order!
This game is the dark souls of fnaf
what?
what?
but like, it's not... fnaf, like, at all really
@@BanishedHand it's like the fnaf of dark souls
what?
This makes me want a SEGAGAGA translation again
...yeah, no chance I was ever going to try and work this out myself so spoiler away.

Discovered something recently. If you interact with the wall behind Nemuru's leg (4:03) you'll get the text "It's just a thing".
Justin Bailey
this is a fun way to keep up with the lore
thank you
1:05 I like how they made this room the same as that one club penguin room
I KNEW it looked familiar. Someone needs to look for a speaker amp in this game for a secret entrance 😮
my best bet is that the 2039 hint has to do with the campanella score thing but that might take a hot minute
2:20 I remember seeing those capsules on the ground in mooncats game; in the very beginning of the game
thanks for the summary
UNDERTALE 👀💀
So there’s technically 101 games? (As of now)
And the peototypes
This stuff reminds me of the isaac arg and i love it
Come on, I feel spoiled just by the title 😭
Please give us some time to catch up, I haven't put 100 hours before the launch (and I almost spent all days playing since it came out)
The people that found this haven't even opened all 50 games, it's some crazy stuff!
Haunted? Probably not. Mysterious? Once that scavenger hunt gets started most certainly

God I hope so
Oh sweet another Xana video I can't watch :)
How do u get to ufo tower?
Type hide-hole in the terminal
Jesus. Guy really said melk and typed in milk. Get a load of this guy freaking guy
