  • One of the best way to catch trout is by trolling a lure. One of my 2 favorite lure for trolling is a Thomas Cyclone and a Kastmaster lure - 1/4 oz and 1/8 oz respectively. I vary my speed and change direction often to give the lure more action. Our speed varies from 1 MPH - 2 MPH.

    You’re so creative PK. I learned a lot from you not to buy everything from tackle shops if we can do it ourselves saving some hard earned money. More power to you Brother.?I’ve never imagined using a trolling spoon and it works. 🎣🎣🙏🙏🙏

    Great video. makes me want to get out there. I will say though that that fish finder is just bit over the top, but to each his own.

    PK really enjoying all of your videos! It has been a great distraction through this lock down. When this is done I owe you a beer, brother.

    Just fished Munsel the other day. We started out top lining spoons, but only pulled a single little guy out in about 1.5 hours, so we switched dragging nightcrawlers behind Mack's Hot Wings. Then it was on! We pulled three 17"+ rainbows out, and lost a couple more boat-side. Weather was beautiful and all in all, it was a nice day on the lake.

      We picked up all our trout right along that wall you see in your video at about 4:00. It drops off fast there and we just trolled back and forth.

    Using a Sahara Reel and a Thomas cyclone lure. My man. I use the 1/6th ounce rainbow trout colored lure for bass. It kicks ass. I am using the 3000 Sahara same generation. Instantly subscribed. 👌👌

    Munsel Lake... Coos Bay... how wide is your range for fishing in relation to where you live in Oregon?

    • @oregonlife
      @oregonlife  7 років тому

      I drive about 1-3 to go to my spots.

      That's dedication. A 1hr drive is probably my max-- though given the way traffic is around here in SF and the Bay Area, 1 hour in the car would probably only get me 30miles unless it's a calm weekday.
      Do you pack a large cooler in your car to keep your catch cold on those longer drives?
