I believe the Avocas & Osindile were sired by the Giraffe male Brutus, while RRM was sired by one of Brutus’ brothers. Additionally, RRM & Osindile have the same mother, White Dot. She is currently part of the Birmingham Pride. It’s all very interesting!

I can't believe how big the subadults are. It was a starting family with young kids some years ago, and now the kids are big! The boy is really really beautiful!!! Our beloved Red Road male and the Nharu females did a great job in keeping their cubs safe! Strong Birmingham genes!
Birmingham's strong genes are on both sides. The 3 lioness mothers are the daughters, of one of the Old Skybeds' daughters. Mrs Bus from Birmingham who died mid-March 2022. Red Road Son of White Dot.
Ross males completed 4 years and 5 months in Ngala Miss Bus was the biggest lioness of Birmingham's pride. In Birmingham pride has 4 daughters Red Road's two cousins The white lioness and her sister.

Great video, its Great see the Red road lion again.I used to compare him to Nguvu because they both ruled alone, but Red Road is a much more stronger lion and with these 4 sons that look just like him they will be a dominant coalition.
Ive said this before (long ago) and i'll say it again. If RRM somehow gets his four boys to the stage where they can fend for themselves is a testament to his greatness being a single pride defender. RRM is what the othawa male should have been with the mhangeni pride had he just not looked for trouble. The OM lived in a safer neighborhood than the RRM but the difference from what ive seen is RRM did not look for trouble as he seemed content with just one pride. Long live RRM and his four boys. Hoping they will carry RRM's legacy

We see that there is Thanda Impi in these sub adults(without forgetting that Skorro and his brother, are perhaps the fathers at RRM), they are handsome...even if the young male has a problem with the jaw, it is nonetheless beautiful, it will be easily recognizable and will have an added charm... The two lionesses that are now known as Black Dot and her sister, Red Road. End of 2014 red road pride was created "Old Skorro's brother was already dead"
That’s not true skorro and suzinnie was the pride males of the pride and red road male to me looks just like suzinnie whim is the best solo male hunter folks would have ever seen, he brought down adult buffalo’s by him self, it’s so much info out there about who fathered red road, some say Brutus or his brothers, some say the northern matimba’s, in my opinion his DNA was more from the skorro and suzinnie
Yes red roads for young males could be a force to be reckoned with LOL but if you look at all of the different Prides from North and South Sabi Sands all the way over to the Western quarter of Kruger you'll realize there's about 10 Prides in there that all have young guys that are coming of age one in particular that I did look at are the birminghams. The birminghams have seven young males that are getting close to 3 years old and there's several other Prides that have at least six young males and there was only one Pride that I saw that had five and then it drops down to Red roads Pride that has four young males,. So if you take into consideration the amount of young male lions that are coming of age in that vast area from Sabi Sands over towards Kruger and just north and just south of the whole area you'll figure out there's close to 54 young males better between two and a half - three and a half years of age and things are going to get real interesting when all them older males start trying to protect their Prides against all them young males that's fixing to go out on their own, look it up cuz I was talking about this 6 months ago

The 7 males you commented on are from the Birmingham Breakaway Pride. All are over 4 years old. In Birmingham pride there are 4 more males 2 turns 4 in October 1 turns 4 in December The youngest turns 3 in March 2023. There are also the 6 Black Dam boys. Born in 2017

Ncile was caught in a snare thru his mouth and around the back of his head...they had to save him like red road. Ncile is in bad shape but is with his coalition and should recover but tragic just the same for him.
Poor lions fending off flies that are trying to get bit of moisture from lion's body. Typical to Australia during dry season when flies are really bad. In Canadian north worst fly months are June, July full of black flies and mosquitos. Russian Siberia same like Canada flies are driving moose in to the lake to escape bites.
If their anything like the king red road, they will be a force. So, how is king red road, is he trying to kick out his sons. What kind of way do he interact with them. Just curious
He will continue to protect and interact with them because they aren’t ready yet they still look way to young for independence but around this time next year, it would time for them to move on, they still have to learn to hunt and learn more from their elders but when that time comes, red road will be on a mission, he will evict them all at once and the daughters stay with the pride for life
Both of them were actually save by a life threatening snare but red road made a full recovery and ncila is still struggling to find that way of consistent recovery without small set backs, I think he’ll b just find with time

Ncile was caught in a snare thru his mouth and around the back of his head...they had to save him like red road. Ncile is in bad shape but is with his coalition and should recover but tragic just the same for him.

Poor lions fending off flies that are trying to get bit of moisture from lion's body. Typical to Australia during dry season when flies are really bad. In Canadian north worst fly months are June, July full of black flies and mosquitos. Russian Siberia same like Canada flies are driving moose in to the lake to escape bites.

If their anything like the king red road, they will be a force. So, how is king red road, is he trying to kick out his sons. What kind of way do he interact with them. Just curious
He will continue to protect and interact with them because they aren’t ready yet they still look way to young for independence but around this time next year, it would time for them to move on, they still have to learn to hunt and learn more from their elders but when that time comes, red road will be on a mission, he will evict them all at once and the daughters stay with the pride for life

Both of them were actually save by a life threatening snare but red road made a full recovery and ncila is still struggling to find that way of consistent recovery without small set backs, I think he’ll b just find with time
