Such a beautiful pride. Lions lives are so full of chaos at times it’s always nice to see a pride peaceful and playful.
They sleep and lay around for 20 hours a day.

Very big smile I had watching the Nharu Pride and the gorgeous Red Road especially the mom and cubs interaction. The waterbuck looked amazing. Martial Eagles are my favorite. Thanks Tintswalo 😀

Both Red Road and Nharu originate from the most legendary and successful pride in Kruger - the Birmingham pride

Worst case scenario is Othawa Male and Red Road form a coalition because theres certainly going to be change drastically in and around these parts with the Nwaswishaka Males looking for more territory, soon the Styx male and Jr Nkhuma will wants piece as well as the Tumbella coalition will be looking for more that's just scratching the surface good times and sad Times are for sure ahead

I'm still playing catch up on your videos, but I must say, I have fallen in love with this pride and the Talamati pride. The prides are just stunning. Not sure where they are today and what has happened, but looking forward to finding out. Thank you again for sharing your world with us.
Red Road moves his family as needed. He seems to think about their safety a lot.
I love red road it's a shame him and his little brother weren't born round the same time. Coz him and the young Birmingham male could of had more of a chance of servival love them both. At least the y b male has a coalition partner now. Good look my boy's
3 years later, Red Road is still the pride male of the nharu pride. Many challenges and he's met them all. A very strong 🦁 lion.

I have two questions number one how come we don’t name the elephant heards or individuals?
My second question is do we know which elephant has the longest tusks in your reserve? Can we tell how old they are by the size of their tusks?

It sounds like Red Road's being challenged by those Kruger males you mentioned, it's a shame he doesn't have a coalition partner considering what a handsome male he is. Hopefully if he is chased off that he can join up with another lone male and have a better opportunity the second time. Also, is he called Red Road because of the ginger coloring of his mane or is he named after a location he was first seen?
His half-brother in the Birmingham Pride May be pushed out soon...it would be nice if he could accept him. But I don’t want him pushed out until these cubs are independent....I do t want to see them lost
He was named after his natal pride, he comes from Birmingham pride, but when new males came in Ngala, his mother and aunt saved him and his 2 sisters and run away into Manyeleti, where rangers called them Red Road Pride..
When he become nomadic in 2018, females returned back into Ngala.
Im still not sure if those 2 older females and his 2 sisters are the same 4 females currently in Birmingham pride, or are they from Birmingham breakeaway..
