Happy Sunday, Allison! I finally picked up this foundation because I thought it might be very good for winter wear since my skin is so dry. I have the shade 3W1 warm almond and it is a good match. I put it on with my fingers, and I found the coverage was decent over my nose area which tends to get red in the winter. I wanted to look back through your videos because you and I usually wear the same shade of foundation and I value your opinion 😊 I think it is definitely a good foundation for the office when you don’t want to look too made up. But on the weekends when I know I’m going out at night I will still use my Armani luminous silk. You are right about this brand though the shade range is lacking! I liked the concealer, but I couldn’t find a color I was happy with. The lighter shade was way too whitish, and the darker shade was too orange for my taste. Thanks to your recommendation I have been using Chanel Sublimage concealer. Take care and keep those videos coming!

*Hi friends! I went on the Sisley site last night and the foundation disappeared for some reason. I went on the site again this morning and the entire website is down. I contacted customer support and they told their site should be up and running tomorrow morning August 31st. I forgot to mention in my video that a) the foundation has no scent or fragrance that I noticed b) no SPF is labelled on it and c) when I did my wear tests I did so without powders.*
Also, I apologize if you can hear random construction noises in the video, there is a house being gutted and rebuilt next door to me 🤷🏻♀️

Sisley has the hardest shades in my opinion-I don’t think it’s because you’re buying online; they just have unusual shades. I have all of their foundations-except this new one you are reviewing for us. And, when I looked at the shades for this foundation I must say I am totally baffled-no idea what shade to pick. I’m usually a 0 or a 1 and sometimes I am the cool and sometimes the warm. So, I’ll need samples in order to know so I think I am going to have to pass. 😟 I love my Japanese foundations so I am going to put my money there. Clé De Peau just dropped their updated cream foundation in Japan so I will be picking that up instead. You should pick up the Sisley concealer and the the Illuminator pen-both are beautiful! The Sisley lipsticks are worth the investment-the feel good on the lips and they are beautiful! The foundation looks gorgeous on you. Thank you so much-great review!!! 😍🥰
My pleasure Stephanie!! I definitely think that Sisley foundation shades need more nuance. Their finishes are really nice and natural, but I often find huge gaps in between their shades.

I think your skin looked gorgeous to start, but a light touch is prettiest! I generally love Sisley makeup. Great choice! I don’t expect any foundation to be truly long wearing, but I can imagine many will be disappointed. Also really like the Topaz eyeshadow shade. I wish they kept the same high end glass bottle.
I know, I think the sparkling topaz shade was the real winner here 😆
Hi Al, thanks to you and Michele, I did get this foundation even before it went on sale at the Family and friends event. It does deliver what it promised. It’s giving a light coverage but definitely gives more coverage than the Surratt Dew Drop, right?
That’s a lot of claims! I’m on the hunt for the be all foundation and it’s hard to know what will work for me. At most being at a high price above $100+ it’s daunting! Love your videos fello Canadian gal! You rock🦋

Allison, I’m the exact same complexion shade as you. I’ve been to the Sisley counter many times and have never found the perfect shade for me. For this reason I have never purchased a Sisley foundation. I’m loving the Sisley eye shade on you.

If I saw this foundation earlier in the late spring I might have tried it. I am sure it is great but unfortunately we live in a masked world and it is with us for a while yet. You do need to try the bronzer I think it is lovely as well as the loose face powder. It is a great staple. Shadows and lipsticks are good as well . Face masks are very good and my skin responds to them well. The Chanel is also in a plastic bottle which is not my fav container. One day I may try this formula. There usually is a fall sale if I remember for Sisley. Start saving

Great review! This is a non merci for me. I already have the tinted moisturizer and it seems to be quite similar. For weekends I do not mind light coverage but when I want a foundation, definitely more than what you describe. I have all the flower blushes, gorgeous all of them! Eyeliners are my favorite and also lip products, I have super dry lips and they have a great quality. Check the cream bronzer they have, it is absolutely gorgeous too!

Hi Allie! Thank you for the review. The Sisley concealer that you tried is one of the best I’ve ever used! However, I think you’d be much happier with shades number 1 or 2! I have the same skin tone as you and enjoy No. 1. Shade 3 I think is better for the face….. I would be interested to know if it will last longer when using the Sisley Blur Expert powder as a primer. I love all the makeup and skincare that I have tried from Sisley, the only item so far that has been a disappointment is their eye makeup remover, total waste of money. The bronzer and mascara are definitely my holy grail makeup products from Sisley.
Hi Pam! The bronzer is next up on my wish list! Using a powder after the foundation does help it stay a bit longer.
