WARNING You need to weld it up, because I lost the tips piece (last section of the exhaust) when going down the interstate. Those clamps are not that great. O well. I will ignore the road rash on my exhaust and weld it up.
Kudos on the v bands. Slip fit sucks, plain & simple. Not knocking speed, but all of them. You always get a small leak somewhere. I’ve got the speed engineering full lengths to y pipe then dumped from a flowmaster single chamber. Sounds good with the cam I just hate the way my crossover pipe hangs down low. Great looking/sounding truck my friend!
This might be a stupid question but why does speed engineering sell the headers with the y-pipe or true duals and exhaust with no cat? Like you can't pass inspection wtf
@@Ruben-us2kf no they don’t go under your truck and check (at least not in Texas), and you NEED a tune because without the o2 sensors the computer won’t know what to do, plus the tune with delete the check engine light. And tbh it can pass inspection if you slide the right person a little $ lol
Do youres sound like a leak at certain rpms even though there isnt a physical leak? O also vband my header collector because i used to have leaks now i have none and still sounds like a leak

You have to get a tune on your vehicle after install, and cats restrict air flow so not exactly what you want when trying to get more HP

I believe they were clamped at each end. The SE mufflers are complete garbage.

thats just just how headers sound, thats why the factory uses cast iron cause it dampens valve train noise a lot.
What was wrong with the Gibson?? When you put on your headers did you have to get a tune for the check engine light?
