- In today’s video, I talk about keeping the faith in times of hardship and staying focused on the light at the end of the tunnel. There are many things I have to be grateful for in the process of rebuilding my life. Let’s talk about it.

In 2018, God took away my craving for alcohol, and sports gambling. I too was backlogged with the IRS almost 8yrs. Finally paid off that debt 2023. My credit score was 480. Now mid 700’s. God brought me out of all my mess and now I’m obedient to what he wants. Stick with God every day brother. You are going to be ok.

I Just discovered you .. I am 56 my husband left me 2017 for another woman after 30 years …I then fell for a romance scam that put into debt .. dumbest thing I have ever done in my life .. I got 3 more years ( including 2 more years to pay off my car ) then I’ll be free . I get money from my ex but living costs plus credit card payments leave me nothing .. started doing Uber eats and doordash but also now got taxes to pay .. I often lose faith too and want to give up . This video helps me to see the light again . I’ll get through less then 3 years I’ll be free .
Keep looking forward, and stick with your plan, I have a 5 year plan and have 3 more years to get my debt paid off.

Good for you. I was deeply in debt and worked 2-3 low paying jobs. But I did it. Took several years. Now debt free. Everything is so much sweeter. Keep the faith and keep up the good work!

I dk how this video pooped up but Im thankful it did. Im a 39 yr old gambling addict5 and alcoholic. Lost everything including the love of my life my fiance last year. I am watching this while drinking a full bottle of rum, depressed and contemplating ending it. Starting over from scratch at 39 seems impossible. I also do Uber Eats, DD and Grunhub, but in the end always just throw it away. Live with my mom who has alzheimers as well. Just a God awful life , but I put myself in this position. Just know this video (and others in your channel) give people like myself hope that their may be light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck to you and I hope you get to where u want to be.

I'm glad you mentioned credit card debt. I've struggled with it for years. Went through credit counseling twice & now I still owe a bunch on about 4. I have a house payment & a car payment & utilities but I'm current on everything. Your videos have helped me as I also deal with depression issues. What you talk about often centers me. Thank you for all you do. 🥰

Bren, when we are lacking hope..God has a bottomless well of it. My life is also in the rebuilding and i was discouraged and wanted to go back to “comfort” and my dear friend said “You are in your wilderness. God helped you get out of Egypt…out of slavery…dont go back just because you are hungry. Keep going!” There can be joy in the wilderness. Counting our blessings like you did is a way to anchor us in truth and not spiral in unproductive thoughts. Thank you for sharing! Have a blessed day!

All we bring to God is our sin and even our “best” are filthy rags compared to the holy God of the Bible. Keep encouraged and keep your faith in God alone. He is holding us and He’s mighty to save. I appreciate your authentic, vulnerability. Taking responsibility and accountability for your life. This is what continues to heal you and inspire many others. All of us have a story. Accepting, allowing direction, and letting go, and keeping the faith and trust in God is always going to point in the exact direction you're supposed to be.

I'm exactly in the same situation as you are although my drinking problem is history now, was a long time ago. All that comes out of this i can tell you is " self- knowledge". It's a deep deep journey into the self, the Divine wants you to really discover who you are and what you're made of, and reveal to you strength that you've never imagined that you possessed. Just talk to him before you sleep every night when everything is dark and quiet and you snuggle in the clothes, remembering your son , and think that you're doing it for him that little guy you love so much . The almighty God knows what's best for us , i just had to be patient to trust his exalted better perspective on things, after all from His eye point things are more clear. Keep it up, this is the "winner" process and soon all the negative things will seem as garbage compared to the good things ahead, when especially savings will build up, God bless, all the best, we are in this together from all four corners of the world! 🌎

I’ve been in the same rut as you with alcohol, although I’ve never lived in my car, but took me 3 years to get back up after my 2nd dui an I never looked back. God makes us go thru these trials tribulations to bring out the real person underneath it all and we wouldn’t be in better place today if we didn’t go thru the struggle. I am a cancer survivor, always looking over my shoulder in fear of a recurrence. I have been saying that prayer the last few days, and it does bring peace of mind. Thanks for your thoughtful videos.

hey it gets better trust me i was 24 just got married i was 18k in credit card debt!! i was making like 1.8k a month and apartment rent was 1.2k so yes top ramen dinners were often… but there were times i wanted to quit i thought it was impossible! and no matter what everyone says God does help it gave me peace of mind and “everything is going to be ok” mentality. So brother there is light at the end of the tunnel i decided to work 2 jobs to pay everything off it’s hard like really hard but it was the fastest option in my opinion.
When you’re going through he’ll keep on going.
People are always where they want to be.
