This reminds me of my recent past. I was drunk, in debt, didn't care, hadn't graduated, hated everyone....one day I fell to my knees in my driveway and said "God, I can't do this life any more!! If you are really there, I NEED YOUR HELP." was drawn to pick up my Bible and read it. I am here today, 5 years later - Graduated, sober, out of debt, in love with my Creator and His Son Jesus Christ, a wonderful husband of 4 years, a good job with great benefits, I am forgiven and FREE!!!! Glory to God forever!! He saved a miserable wretch like me!!!! and what melts my heart is that my granddaughter's name is GRACE!!! Yes - I have been saved by God's AMAZING GRACE!!!

*My testimony* In 2011, I got a blood related skin disease that messed up my life for 9 months. I would have stripe like scars from head to toe that become triggered when they come into contact with anything. Couldn't even keep my clothes on and even suffered so bad down there. I was itching from head to toe 24/7. The last doctor I went to gave me some medicine and asked me to only take it for 2 weeks. He said if it doesn't go away by then I'll have to take injections daily etc. The itching would come back the next second when I tried not to take the meds after 2 weeks. So I kept taking it for a week or so more. Then I got sick of it one day and literally knelt down and screamed my heart to the lord. I cried so bad and confessed every sin I was able to remember. I said lord I know you can heal me so im going to throw these meds away now. You know how much I will suffer if I dont take them but if it's your will, then so be it. All I ask is that you give me the strength to deal with it until you heal me. In jesus name. I threw the meds and went to bed. I couldn't feel my scars and how they usually get triggered when my body touches the bed sheets. I kept feeling my self all over. It's been 8 years since he freed me from that torment. That was one of the many miracles the lord has done in my life. Praise the lord. If you believe and ask for his will, you will receive.
IMO the glasses don't represent bad eye sight. It is the way he looked at life. That's why he was so lost when it got crushed (Also explains why he could read the bible without them). When he started walking by faith, no one could take that away from him. In the end, when he lived through the eyes of faith, he found happiness.

We walk by faith, and faith takes time to develop. So does trust. So often we are disappointed because the ''film'' is not the same as reality/life. This is when it becomes so important to trust in faith, and take action through prayer.

Can you say, "Non sequitur"? How does "God's response to prayer is no different than chance," follow from the quotation you gave about God providing some answers to prayer in a way that might not be what you wanted? How does your "in other words," follow either necessarily or even follow in the likely-intended-to-be-understood way of the believer who puts forth that quotation? Explain away.

I was a drug addict for 24 years had lost everything and was completely lost. The make a long story short, I took whatever little faith I had in GOD left and cried out. Today I am redeemed, I lives a blessed life 4 1/2 years sober and have been the pastor of Desdemona First Baptist Church in Desdemona Texas for over 2 years. GOD has amazing grace thru JESUS CHRIST.

GOD is Amazing, HE literally did the same thing to me, i was going through a tough time when i was a pre-teen and one morning i noticed something moving under the door to my room, then saw it was a little paw. i opened the door and there was a little kitten! i then realized a cat had had her kittens on our back porch! of course that brought joy to me life. Kittens are my favorite, Thank YOU PAPA!! our true Joy comes from Jesus Christ though:)
Incredible. 2011 and it still looks good! It tells a Christian message in a story within 5 minutes, that many major Christian studios try to convey a message within 2 hours, while trying to keep their audience engaged. This film kept me engaged. It was really good for a low budget film that was probably a budget of $1000 or so. It’s straight to the point. And there’s no dialogue! Many Christian films believe you have to have dialogue to bring a message forward…but that’s not the case in film. Its roots are in no dialogue like we had it back in the 1920’s. Again great work!

This really shows that if you pray, God answeres. Today, I lost my dog and we were gonna be late for my sisters cheer. So I prayed. We made it to cheer 5 minutes early and my dad called saying he found our dog. At that moment, I really, truly, new that God will always be there to help and he won’t give up on us. Woah beautiful movie.. Reminds me also of my past was a budhist before, i use to clean the altar, pray to gods lot of statue, pray to ancestor. And i never had my prayer answered.. i was all alone, living outside parents and just like in this story.. Deep down inside my heart since i was a little kid i was so desperate to know why am i here and how can i go to heaven.. Nobody told me about how to go to heaven i was so frustated because i've also done lot of bad things and i know i will end up going to hell and i'm scared. Until one day i heard a voice to go to the Church.. I dont know what happen but i'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit touch me there i've never cried before yet i cried a lot that day until now like knowing this is the one i'm looking for since i was a kid now i've found it the true love who can fill my empty heart.. i pursue Him desperately even if my whole family dispise and bully me because i'm a christian.. i have read the bible 5 times in this 3 years, and because nobody want to told me the gospel now i'm spreading the Gospel to everyone that i met, teach bible study, sunday school, businessmen's fellowship and my life is all about Jesus Christ. And from that time my life was completely different like in this story. Jesus is really a Living GOD who answer all my prayers.. So blessed and really an amazing grace to know HIM before i died. Beautiful video! I especially loved the ending where the dog's name ended up being Faith. and the dog is what brought them together. So the hidden message is that Faith really brought them together :)

Today at church I felt the presence of The Holy Spirit it was the most amazing experience ever. And the woman who prayed for me said when she grabbed my hand it was like she grabbed a live wire! the end is open to interpretation. seems like the dog followed him home based on the shadow we see when his glasses broke. his prayer was for a better life but he had to believe in God's word by faith. Faith was there all along the very moment it felt his world crashed down. he just didn't take the step until he looked into his bible and believed. the next morning, we saw the door open to faith / faith displayed in his actions. This is really awesome especially with God teaching me about faith.

*My testimony* In 2011, I got a blood related skin disease that messed up my life for 9 months. I would have stripe like scars from head to toe that become triggered when they come into contact with anything. Couldn't even keep my clothes on and even suffered so bad down there. I was itching from head to toe 24/7.
The last doctor I went to gave me some medicine and asked me to only take it for 2 weeks. He said if it doesn't go away by then I'll have to take injections daily etc.
The itching would come back the next second when I tried not to take the meds after 2 weeks. So I kept taking it for a week or so more.
Then I got sick of it one day and literally knelt down and screamed my heart to the lord. I cried so bad and confessed every sin I was able to remember. I said lord I know you can heal me so im going to throw these meds away now. You know how much I will suffer if I dont take them but if it's your will, then so be it. All I ask is that you give me the strength to deal with it until you heal me. In jesus name.
I threw the meds and went to bed. I couldn't feel my scars and how they usually get triggered when my body touches the bed sheets. I kept feeling my self all over. It's been 8 years since he freed me from that torment.
That was one of the many miracles the lord has done in my life. Praise the lord. If you believe and ask for his will, you will receive.

IMO the glasses don't represent bad eye sight. It is the way he looked at life. That's why he was so lost when it got crushed (Also explains why he could read the bible without them). When he started walking by faith, no one could take that away from him.
In the end, when he lived through the eyes of faith, he found happiness.

I was a drug addict for 24 years had lost everything and was completely lost. The make a long story short, I took whatever little faith I had in GOD left and cried out. Incredible. 2011 and it still looks good! It tells a Christian message in a story within 5 minutes, that many major Christian studios try to convey a message within 2 hours, while trying to keep their audience engaged. This film kept me engaged. It was really good for a low budget film that was probably a budget of $1000 or so. It’s straight to the point. And there’s no dialogue! Many Christian films believe you have to have dialogue to bring a message forward…but that’s not the case in film. Its roots are in no dialogue like we had it back in the 1920’s.

This really shows that if you pray, God answeres. Today, I lost my dog and we were gonna be late for my sisters cheer. So I prayed. We made it to cheer 5 minutes early and my dad called saying he found our dog. At that moment, I really, truly, new that God will always be there to help and he won’t give up on us. I love this vidoe, and I love God 100percent and more! ❤️❤️❤️

Woah beautiful movie.. Reminds me also of my past was a budhist before, i use to clean the altar, pray to gods lot of statue, pray to ancestor. And i never had my prayer answered.. i was all alone, living outside parents and just like in this story.. Deep down inside my heart since i was a little kid i was so desperate to know why am i here and how can i go to heaven.. Nobody told me about how to go to heaven i was so frustated because i've also done lot of bad things and i know i will end up going to hell and i'm scared. Until one day i heard a voice to go to the Church.. I dont know what happen but i'm pretty sure the Holy Spirit touch me there i've never cried before yet i cried a lot that day until now like knowing this is the one i'm looking for since i was a kid now i've found it the true love who can fill my empty heart.. i pursue Him desperately even if my whole family dispise and bully me because i'm a christian.. i have read the bible 5 times in this 3 years, and because nobody want to told me the gospel now i'm spreading the Gospel to everyone that i met, teach bible study, sunday school, businessmen's fellowship and my life is all about Jesus Christ. And from that time my life was completely different like in this story. Jesus is really a Living GOD who answer all my prayers.. So blessed and really an amazing grace to know HIM before i died. THE PARABLE OF THE FATHER AND HIS TWO SONS (Part 1)
One day a father decided to take his two sons to the forest to show them God’s wonderful creation. They walked down the path until it split into two different paths; one to the right and one to the left. The father told his sons, “My sons never take the path to the left but always take the path to the right which takes you to the beautiful stream flowing with life-sustaining water to drink from so you will never thirst on your journey.” Then they journeyed on and drank the life-sustaining water from the beautiful stream and so their spirits were refreshed and returned home. A few years later when the sons were old enough to journey on their own, the two sons asked the father if they could journey alone to the forest. The father said, “Yes you can but heed my counsel and do not take the path to the left for it is very dangerous.” The sons left and proceeded down the path when it came to the split. The older son said to the younger son, “Wait here while I journey down the path to the left to see what is around the corner.” The younger son said, “Father said we should not take that path.” The older son replied, “It will be fine and father will never know.” As the older son walked around the corner, he fell into a pit that was hidden by fallen brush. A few years later, the two sons once again journeyed to the forest for the older brother still thirsted for the life-sustaining water from the beautiful stream. When they reached the split, the younger son said, “I am older now so I will journey down the path to the left to see what is around the corner myself. Father is older now, will not find out, nor will he punish me in his old age.” The older son pleaded with the younger son and said, “Please, my brother, learn from my mistake and do not arouse the fierce anger of our father.” But the younger son was full of pride and arrogance and thought himself invincible. As the younger son walked around the corner, he fell into the same pit that was hidden by the fallen brush. He crawled out but was injured, battered, and bruised. He returned to his older brother. While he thirsted for the life-sustaining water from the beautiful stream, he knew they needed to return home so his injuries could be treated. When they arrived home and the father discovered what had happened, his anger arose more fierce then it had arisen a few years ago. Then the father said to the younger son, “You have disobeyed me and not heeded my counsel so I shall punish you. Your punishment shall be greater than that of your older brother. Your older brother acted foolishly and blindly, but you my young son acted with arrogance and pride knowing full well the dangers and consequences of taking that path and that my anger would arise but you thought that I would show you leniency because of my old age. My age doesn’t change my wisdom nor shall it change the punishment that must be executed for I am a just father.” Then the father said to the older son, “Watch, my firstborn, while I punish your younger brother so you shall see the punishment that arrogance and pride brings when you do not heed your father and think yourself above him who created you. Oh my sons, I love you very much and it saddens me greatly so when I have to chasten you. Why do you put me in these situations? Have I not been a good father full of grace, mercy, and loving-kindness? Why my children?”
The meaning of THE PARABLE OF THE FATHER AND HIS TWO SONS: O’America. Why did you not heed the lesson learned from your older brother Israel, the firstborn of the Father? Did not the Father bring you also to a good land like the land flowing with milk and honey as was promised to your older brother and the descendants of our righteous father Abraham? Were you not also blessed through Israel? Did you not see the punishment Israel received when he thought foolishly that he could turn away from the Father’s wise counsel and still receive the blessings of the Father? Israel was punished and the whole world saw the judgment of the Father who is a holy god. You America have acted with arrogance and pride before the Father knowing full well that His anger arose when Israel turned away from the Father’s wise counsel. Therefore, the Father’s anger towards you shall be more fierce, and the whole world will once again see what happens to a nation blessed by God which turns away from His wise counsel and thinks His blessings will continue. America, you are filled with the spirit of Babylon, and your abominations and wickedness have reached to heaven, and you sit as no queen before the LORD. I have cried and lamented for you America just as Jeremiah cried and lamented for his nation and people. Why oh why America have you turned against the Father? The Father is a holy god and must execute judgment. The LORD God does nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. His glorious name and person shall not be blasphemed or defiled among His creations. The LORD God Almighty is holy, just, and righteous. His holy name shall be glorified once again among the heavens and the earth! Israel, learn from your past and learn from your younger brother America who is to drink from the cup of the LORD's judgment, and whose glory will be turned to shame. Accept the life-sustaining Water and the Lamb that the Father provided you through His son Yeshua-Jesus-The Messiah. Raise your voices to the heavens and say “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!”

Today at church I felt the presence of The Holy Spirit it was the most amazing experience ever. And the woman who prayed for me said when she grabbed my hand it was like she grabbed a live wire! And she said WOW THERE IS SUCH A GREAT ANOINTING OVER YOU! I burst into tears. Thank you Lord, I love you. ❤ Praise God!!

his prayer was for a better life but he had to believe in God's word by faith. Faith was there all along the very moment it felt his world crashed down. he just didn't take the step until he looked into his bible and believed.
the next morning, we saw the door open to faith / faith displayed in his actions.
This is really awesome especially with God teaching me about faith.

This is a good movie theme but it should have been taken more seriously. The story here is like a fairy tale. We don't just get things all worked out in a few hours in a neatly packaged form. Christian film makers, please make films about real life. How hard it is. How waiting is part of faith.
