I've come to the realization today that I listen vapor wave, lofi, and chillstep when I disassociate emotionally. Like I'm listening to the more ambient music to help revitalize my subconscious.. I usually will listen Something that has the slightest depressive undertone to stimulate any sort of emotional response when my world and environment seem to desolve around me. I've found it to be incredibly healing, and I'm proud after so long to have figured it out.. I just thought I'd share and hope this resonates with someone else✌️

It began in village, it was a small place filled with old men and women in mountains. One summer when I went there to visit my grandparents I met this boy let's call him H.
So me and H. Instantly became best friends because we both liked cold weather, music, dark clouds etc. But what we shared the most is our attraction to this song. We would spend almost all of our summer nights together laying on that one our special hill looking up at sky and sharing our wishes to each other while listening to this song slowed down. It really created "I love you. Goodbye" vibe but the thing is we did not love nor even liked each other in that way. We weren't the same even though we had a lot in common. H. never even cared about anyone but himself. Although he had very how can I say.. very strange wishes and dreams. Where he lived was far away from our village but our friendship went for over 2 years without any difficulties. But everything changed when we came back to our village on our 3rd year friendship anniversary. He always dreamed about leaving the place where he lived back then and starting a new life with his new significant other. But this year although, it was the same wish he didn't mean what he usually meant. I had a gut feeling, something felt off.
After summer, 2 days after he left the village to his home he disappeared. He was never seen again and no one even found his body. They are assuming that he is dead but I still have hope that he's alive. As long as this song is alive he won't die and his dreams will become real. I really wish he'd be here, by my side at this moment but he isn't. He said his goodbyes to everyone and left. And I couldn't be more proud of him.
Edit: he was last seen before pandemic, I think in 2017 or 2018 and we were about 16-17

Not noticing the front of how the song feels, but, it gives off a feeling. It gives off a sense; of safety. It scatters the feeling of being late. Any time of late, any type. But it feels good, as being late lets you see things you wouldn't see otherwise. The thing you thought you hate most to do, becomes your ally in finding- creating, yourself in the end. This feels like learning, making mistakes. As the rough comes through the mistake, watching how your actions affect everything around you. And being put on the sidelines. There are so many great interpretations of how this song makes one feel in this comments section. For me, I'm in the midst of the toughest week of my life. My girlfriend's and my apartment has been growing mold and it's made her very sick. We had moved so I could finish my degree at my dream university while she's working a prestigious job in the area. We were there only three months, building this beautiful life together, now it's all crashing down. Now I have covid and have to take finals and haven't seen her in a week. As much as I want for this awful period to end, it's been an important reminder to notice when things are good, don't fall into the routine. I feel like we all like this because it helps us escape from our lives. Listening to the rain in the dark is so normal and real yet so euphoric and makes us feel alive.
I used to work as a server 13 minutes away from where I lived. I usually worked into the night. After my shift at around 11, me and my coworkers would sit around and talk about the job, our love lives, and just general life stuff. Even though It was a stressful job, I enjoyed the bond I had with my coworkers. Most of my drive consisted on driving down the Interstate. At night, it was quite enjoyable, I actually listened to this song many times on my ride home on the interstate. There is something peaceful about it, it makes you be introspective, but not in a sad and solemn way, more of a true neutral way.

At the beginning of 2021 I met a guy, i felt so attracted to him. After a month passed we decided to call it official, it felt like we were best friends and even lovers for years. At the time we met we were both going through stuff and as the months passed we made each other a playlist to remember what we felt. The first song he added what this one and i would listen to it until my brain knew every word and every beat. On December that same year we decided to end our relationship due to us not sharing the same feelings and communicating well. this song makes me feel so unreal and when the piano part plays it feels like i’m entering a beautiful palace when it’s raining and a purple sky outside and inside the palace, the person i care about the most is playing the piano and looks at me and smiles as then all my problems and fears go away. i feel so safe and that there is a shield of love protecting me from everything traumatic happening. so many thoughts and safe feelings i have with this song it makes me feel so good and it always makes me take the best breath of my life i love this feeling ❤️
I know I am not alone in saying this, but this song draws out a feeling that is unexplainable......a sense of something grander, something more, and the craziest thing is that I know it's a universal feeling, something we all know to be true, but just out of grasp of explanation.
