score threshold is great, not only has it helped me achieve higher scores and made me more consistent, it has also given me a clear goal instead of just running through a playlist mindlessly.
hit gm voltaic with this exact method (besides 4 and 5), extremely surprised more top level players don't do this. This is how I started aim training because I've always thought the rep count on scenarios is dumb lol

You know this is kinda what I have been doing to improve and where I got this from is the concept of progressive overload at the gym. So basically every gym session you should be trying to improve by a rep or going up in weight and ironically this very effective gym method is very effective in aim training.
After getting into aim trainers and seeing how rewarding it is to pb that's roughly the routine that I fell into. Hey man, I just wanted to say, I really appreciate you giving the game away... I am trying to get a nice VT rank although I'm not "oficially" ranked yet I: plan on going for an official rank when I get some higher scores for sure. Thanks again 100%
Should I play one scenario for 2 hours ? if I don't hit the high score or should I play one scenario for lets say 10 minutes and move to the next scenario even If I didn't hit high score on previous scenario.

I don't know if I missed this somewhere in the video or if it's answered somewhere in the comment section, but what do I do about a scenario that I've never played? Should I just do 5 or 10 runs while aiming for a pb, then start implementing score thresholds next time?

Hey matty. Would you ever make a video on the topic of transferability of raw aim in aim trainers to aim in games (if you haven’t already)? I find my raw aim is much better in Kovaaks and is very consistent, yet when I go into games the consistency decreases tremendously. Of course there are many more specific mechanics in games to worry about, which absolutely contributes, but I still feel like my raw mouse control while playing games simply isn’t as good. Any thoughts?
You mentioned we should not be sticking to this method if we are training for a real game. What should we stick to then? I am currently Master in VT benchmarks pushing master complete in a few days. I supplement it for my Apex Legends gameplay. There is no ceiling for me. Just not sure what would be the most prinicipled approach.
You stick with completely opposite what he said. Don't chase improving Peak scores. Chase improving average. Which is the score is natural for you and can hit consistently any time. And eventually your average will become your old peak and feel naturally. While this process is very slow. It builds mastery and you remember for long time. Its like fitness. Then you train for endurance it last much longer then your best lift or your peak skill. That's what I play in every life skill. I focus in my concistancy that can last for hours and not my peak for few minutes. I hope I shared my opinion well. I'm very sorry my English is very awful.
Whenever you run the routine, don't just play on autopilot and run through reps. You want to hit a high score. You want to have the best performance, every single time.
I take a mindset of knowing I was this good then, and have only trained more since then. So I must hit high score. If that passion isn't enough, usually I'll keep goin passively till my technique passively improves but I recommend vodding and finding out actively what issues or reasons for slowness vs other players is happening in runs
@@mattyow777 this is why I believe this method is good regardless of the aim trainer being your main game or not (so not just for scorefarming). It makes you try harder and focus more, hence making the time spent training more efficient as opposed to autopiloting any 60-90min playlist.
This was released at the perfect time, I am currently grinding for GM in the VT benchmarks and have been utilizing the VDIM playlists. Thanks matty, keep up the good work. You are a huge inspiration to me 🫡
If I want to improve in game, which I have been you need skill transfer into game mode, not aimtrain score mode. How I do this is I warm up in game and practice my aim for 15 mins then I notice my natural game technique coming into play in the aim training sessions. More snappy flicks mostly.
how do you balance just clicking next after reaching a threshold with actually pbing? like if pb on a scen is 50, and your threshold is 47, and you start getting 47 more consistently, should you try it several more times to have a higher chance of pbing? or raise the floor to 48 etc? and what about if it was like VDIM and the only scen that really "matters" is the benchmark at the end (where I would want to avoid tiring myself out before it)
I think if ur repeatedly able to hit the threshold, you should spend a little more time to go for pb. Usually it means I’m on a roll and I’m gonna hit one

Каждый раунд нужно делать осознанно, смотря VOD своего повторения для выявления ошибок и в следующий раз пытаться их не делать.

prefect timing for my gm grind :D ty matt yow

So progressive overload your aim every day. It’s like going’s for a one rep max in the gym every day
I would add a 3-5 min medium/hard level warmup for your mucles rather than going directly into score chasing reset mode.
