    Scucchi told me high levels of reactivity isn't just its own category, but a combination of all the categories. I've kept that in mind ever since.

    Don't sleep on ceiba's advice to "soft focus" on the area around the target. Doing so allows you to see all of the environment and dodge projectiles as needed. While many of us likely do this without thinking about it, aim training can teach the bad habit to only "hard focus" on the target in game. This results in losing the context of the environment the target is in and their various options for movement and cover.

    The instant acceleration in Overwatch has nothing to do with the engine btw.
    Whether the player should immediately move at their maximum velocity or gradually build up to it over a certain time period is a simple Dev decision and could be implemented into their game in any engine.

    This might sound weird but I have the Ability to cross my eyes and focus while looking at the target but also not looking at the target. I basically unfocus my eyes. I know so strange but it works.

    Does edge tracking actually transfer in game? Or is it just there to improve scores in aim trainers?

    • @mattyow777
      @mattyow777  Рік тому +3

      Mostly to improve aim training scores.

    what are your thoughts on dpi? ive tried 400, 800, and 1600 and im not sure which one i like because they feel different at times. Is there a "better" dpi or is it just a natural feel and adapting.

    • @thetf8142
      @thetf8142 Рік тому

      Technically, the higher the dpi, the more accurate it is, but it’s negligible and is honestly up to the user

    • @Gershy13
      @Gershy13 Рік тому +1

      IMO 1600 is the perfect balance. There's a video by optimum tech about mouse latency when using different DPIs, 400 had lots of latency and wasn't recommended at all. 800 was okay, but 1600 had better latency. Anything above that was such a minimal benefit that it wasn't really worth going higher.

    i am way too lazy to watch this video
    but i have nothing resembeling smoothness and still score well on scenarios where people reccomend grinding smoothness to get highscores
    take that for what it is worth. no need to grind smoothness trillions of hours when you can just be faster

    whats the reasoning with looking at the bottom of the target as it gets closer to you at 4:07

  • @squirrelz6117
    @squirrelz6117 Рік тому

    So what Ceiba said was to look in the opposite direction that the player\bot is currently strafing? In that case would it be good to look at the edge of the target in that same direction? Or is he just saying to look to the opposite direction as a whole?
