Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! Hope you enjoy some really cool up close brass band moments from our recent concerts with the River City Brass. Don't forget to show love and support by liking, commenting and sharing. Also, consider supporting the band at www.rivercitybrass.org/donate/ as well as this channel at www.patreon.com/Matonizz or www.matonizz.com Have a great evening friends!
The second part reminds me of this random video I saw few years ago of bagpipes vs tuba and even then I liked how the two sound together with the fuller low end broadening the sound. Oh, and noticed that Drew on flugelhorn was grouped with the F horns. Is that a common practice or just happen to be how these pieces were arranged?
I grew up with Arban and Clarke basically. That being said, if you'd like something a bit more advanced from instruction/detail side, I'd encourage you to check my Full Routine videos on my educational video playlist. I've made 3 or 4 long format, detailed videos on how I practice :)
Always love playing along with pipers...great sound sync with euphonium!
Amazing playing!! Love the Celtic culture
Thank you!
@@Matonizz you should show off some Baltic Lithuanian music 😉

Thank you Eric!
Beautiful! The pipes, the tubasm, and all the rest! The King Kong move by the conductor was a first for me and I've seen almost everything! LOL!
We do things a little different :D Thanks Bill!

Thank you Christian :)
This was so great. I love the band all together as well as when you play the single pieces. All brass bands are the best. Thank you.
Thank you so so much Sandra! Appreciate your support!
You bring fun to brass as well as your super skills.
Thank you very much David!
What a great video from start to end!! Really can see all the work you put in it!
Really appreciate your kind words friend!
Seth Rogan got chops
I just showed this to my Euphonium students "Whoa...is that the Melody?!"
Thank you so much for sharing this with your students! Truly appreciate it friend and hope they'll find this motivating to practice hard :)
It's been a while since your last RCB Upload and boy have I missed them. You all sound great. Especially the Bagpipes!
It has and hopefully we can bring these back on regular basis again. Glad you've enjoyed!
I got to play gaelforce in my universities brass band and it was a lot of fun!!!!
Yes indeed! Fantastic composition :)
This is “The Rocky Road to Dublin” right?

Flugel with horns and horns with euphs are very common practice, especially in our repertoire :) Thanks for your comment friend!
I like your euphonium what brand is it?
Sterling Virtuoso in this video :)
I know I’m a little late but what clef were you taught in? And did you start learning the bass/treble after you learned the first?
Originally in Treble and only started learning bass clef in 2015. Nowadays I'd say I play more bass clef just because of the repertoire :)
I hope the poor horn player got to play more than those glissandi(?) all day.
All 3 of them sure do :D Keep an eye for more content featuring horns ;)
hi matonizz, what were your study methods to get so good at euphonium?😁
