This is an excellent video!!!! It is the answer to my prayers!!!!! Thank you so much!!!!!! I've had smell issues with my washer and from research learned to clean the tub, gasket and detergent tray regularly but it hasn't helped very much. I even leave the door open and remove the detergent tray to dry out after every wash. However, I'm still having troubles with the washer being very wet & my clothes not smelling fresh. I finally learned about the pump filter, found your video on how to clean it, and learned from you about drainage issues & more because of it being clogged and dirty. I'm a little afraid of how bad my filter is going to be. But it will feel so good to get it clean and sparkling and I can't wait to experience the difference in my clothing! I will rewash them ALL!!!!!!
I have no water coming out of the black tube. The filter itself is fairly clean though a bit of water did come out when I opened it. The washing machine does shake a fair bit too which it didn’t do in the past so I don’t think it’s the transit bolts at the back?
The safer method is to completely disconnect the washing machine, carefully lay it down on its front and remove the back panel. Take off the lid tool for extra light. Then you will have to just try and reach in and reconnect or push it through.
I did all as described, but the message "clean pump filter" is still appearing when switching on the machine. How do I get rid of the message after cleaning?

Awesome video. It fixed my SC error on my Samsung front load washer.
Good to know it was helpful
So straight forward and understanding. Your videos are so practically real
How are you getting that white cap off? No matter how we push or pull, it just clicks endlessly
Turn it counterclockwise, it's probably threaded.
I'm having this issue currently
Thank you so much. Had my machine for 5 years....never cleaned the filter.
thank you for the upload
You're welcome
Good job! ian's Gadget
