Wishing you ALL of the success! Will be watching you and cheering you on Lisa! If I can just add one point to help you, portion control is also very important, you can eat very healthy but if you take on more calories then you need you won’t see your weight going down. Unfortunately you need to be in deficit. Best of luck! 🌸
I'll likely be going on Ozempic at some point in the future. This is more because of my diabetes than purely weight-loss, it would just kind of be a bonus if I end up losing. But that has to wait until after I'm done breastfeeding, and realistically done having kids. But my uncle had tried it for his diabetes and it really messed him up, so I'm worried that the genetics wouldn't be in my favor. We'll see what happens. I'll probably go back to intermittent fasting once I'm done breastfeeding more because I felt my best and it was great for my blood sugar again rather than losing weight.
yes, I think the drugs can be a useful tool especially to help diabetes. It is not just about being skinny, many people need to get the weight off for health. I feel like IF is very similar to saxenda in what it does but if I can get the blood sugar down using IF instead it is way cheaper and less risky. Mike is always worried about the cancer risk.
