The economic head start from the Yellow Deck can snowball into incredible late game power when leveraged correctly. In this one, we made it to Ante 15 on Gold Stake and ended up running into Perkeo along the way.

What do you think about negative playing cards. They could invert the effect of enhancements so steels trigger in played hand, negative luckys proc in unplayed ect. It wouldn’t be too op but it would be fun to play around

Madness on every stake before black is like drunk fumbling around on black stake and higher it's the quarter back. You keep it and try to get a few good jokers that can't be destroyed which is not at all impossible.

What would you say is your win rate on Gold Stake? I have yet to win once, just gotta keep grinding I suppose.
Higher than 30% but not sure exactly, and it varies across different decks. On stream it's lower because Chat is distracting, and I do silly stuff for fun. I count early restarts as a loss. I have a Completionist++ playlist where I got a 15-deck winstreak.
If you want some more "practice," try playing Jokerless until you want win 3 in a row. It'll give you a better understanding of the non-Joker elements of the game. And that knowledge will be transferable to Gold Stakes later.
@@drspectred I saw your 15-deck win streak videos, I've tried to watch most of them but I can't seem to transfer what you do in to my games.
I've only gotten to Gold Stake on Checkered Deck, I suppose I should also try to get through the other stakes on the other decks. Still trying to get Yorick for the Completionist achievement, it's the last joker I need.
The joker-less practice idea makes sense though, maybe I'll try that a bit
