Man I miss hearing my little boy chattering away in the Garage with me. Be sure to appreciate this time in your life. It comes and goes too quickly. My sons 34 now and a great man. Just enjoy!
yeah it is really cool if i think about it. super special time
That BBS Rod is a car you don't get into...you wear it! Glad to see you got her running (hope your tetanus shot is up to date)! Truly admire all the skill and work you put into saving that '32 panel! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!
Thank you!
Enjoyed this installment…. Metal work is a journey of endless issues…. Factory lead… would enjoy learning that process 👍💪🙏
I don't know your name so I'll call you RAC your body work is unbelievably great, you are a true artist! Bringing back the remains of the 32 3 window and restoring to new is an accomplishment like climbing Mt Everest in body work!
The 1936 roadster you are building is as good as was done in the 1950s if not better, they were starting with rust free darn near new cars, you're working very old rusty parts.Check out 1937 to 1939 chevy tail lights they may be close to what you are looking for.
You mentioned you are always behind in your work, maybe you don't know how to say no, look at the time you spent trying to get that odd looking ( car) ? running, young men trying to get flatheads fast by using new tech are kidding themselves 8 intake ports going to 6 outlet ports isn't changing the design. to your accomplishment you got it running! Happy Fourth to you and your family, Richard.
thank you so much! yeah itll be running better this week!
What makes those tail lights is the pedestals, I'll have to keep an eye out for them at Carlisle/Hershey. Nice job on fixing some dents/rust as a thank you for lending that rear corner for measurements.
Picklex 20 for metal prep, spray on, wipe off. Keeps metal from rusting. Amazon, expensive, but works great
Model A runs nice Travis Good job On the quarter panel for the 32 and Happy 4th of July
Sounds like there is right tall bump stick ( cam ) in that flathead . That’s ‘50’s lingo !!!!
haha yeah its a litero L100 cam
Make sue the fuel pump isn’t overpowering the float valves. And if it is, put some sort of regulation in the fuel pressure. If it’s an electric fuel pump and the pressure is too high, consider putting in a pressure switch in line to turn off the pump when reaches an adjusted back pressure limit.
Make it kustom just visited a garage on his last trip with half ass custom that has tons of lights.
Looks like a fun ride, an adventure.
Looks like a Packard grill shell upside down
yeah its half a tractor grille and homemade.
Great job!
Thanks man!
Thanks for another , Brother !
My pleasure!
You need to check the float levels and the power valves
Gotta love the can of worms panels.
I wondered if it has a fuel pressure regulator??too much pressure will make needle and seat leak and over flow floats.Just a thought, love your content
fuel pump is at a nice 4psi trickling into the bowls.
Use epoxy primer it is not porous and you can scuff it later and then body work it
