I know. I was like how does this girl NOT have frizzy hair from the towel. Dammit I use a microfiber towel that is supposed to help with frizz but it doesn’t help. I still get a lot of frizz. Yes, it is a legit microfiber towel. I’m going to try the tshirt(100% cotton) method instead. Hopefully that will help.
I knew curly hair was a lot of work but I never realized exactly how much work it was. I have straight hair with a tiny bit of a wave and all I do is wash it and condition it of course, and in the morning I just put detangling spray and leave in conditioner and I'm good. I'll also put leave in conditioner after I shower but that's pretty much it.
You know that every curly haired person has their own routine when they keep yelling at the video. All these people using hard towels on their hair, why?😟 and all the stretching and combing out...
Artistic BTSarmy I’m just saying, that everyone has their own routine. I have curly hair myself and the only time I “comb” it out is just with my fingers while I have conditioner on it. Also, my hair tends to get frizzy, no matter how much I condition, so I only use microfiber towels to take out any excess water, but never to dry all the way through.
@@yvonne3582 Well what kind of hair do you have? High or low porosity? Maybe your hair needs more protein rather then moisture and if not you might want a style product to help with the frizz.
My daughter has curly hair. We are the UK and her routine is different to the U.K. one here. No towels. Never towel dry. We never twist it or anything. I feel a bit lazy 😂 we plop, scrunch it and that’s about it. 😬
My mum has curly hair and literally just shampoos, conditions and air dries. My sister who has poker-straight hair has a more complex routine than her lol. I guess everyones different.
You should never use towels use an old t-shirt instead so ur doing something right. But if you wrap it, nothing cotton only silk or satin. Cotton draws out moisture

I love this!! I don’t think my hair quote classifies as curly so it’s still in the wavy category but I still like taking tips from these for the certain sections of my hair that are curly
These women are in locations where they can access more natural and nourishing ingredients for their curly hair, much cheaper than here in the U.S. For example, in SA, they are closer to pure argan oil, baobab oil, mongogo oil and many local black owned brands that have high quality and nourishing conditioners and stylers. Yet, many of them are using commercial imported brands of hair care products like ORS Argan Oil and Cantu? Those products are full of synthetics, polymers, silicones and ingredients that are drying to curly and Afro-textured hair. ?? Also, the third woman, Sabine. She has a luscious halo of soft dark afro hair that has a natural sheen. However, it is dulled by ALL of that coconut oil, Shea and glycerin from her hair products. Sabine, your hair is low porosity, so it cannot absorb all of that mess. When hair is a dry type, moisture = water not oil. Stop using Cantu!!! Try a water-based brand like Uncle Funky Curly Magic gel (Use with their DeFunk leave-in, or Kinky-Curly Gel with their Knot Today leave-in.) Mane Choice Cuticle Control lotion or Camille Rose Coconut Water Leave-in would be great leave-ins for your hair type as well if you can access it. Your curls will actually show up instead of needing to twist your hair all of the time. For oils, Omega-3 oils like olive, chia, baobab, mongongo and argan are much better for dry hair types, while coconut oil is good for oilier hair types. Finally, those combs will thin your ends. Try a Felicia Leatherwood brush (they have knock-off versions) or Denman Brush (made in the UK).
Just cause we're closer to better products doesn't mean we can afford it, since south Africa has a really bad economic condition and we have extremely bad inflation. It is also really difficult to find natural and safe products t use for our hair that is still at an affordable price
Hey Mimimal, loved that you watched the video and yes you're so right I do have low porosity hair - you deffo know hair very well! It has been such a struggle to find what works for my hair and I have been looking for new hair products that could elevate my curls however I do find not all the best ones are affordable (considering I'm a student and sadly sometimes unable to afford the more expensive ones) but saying that, I will deffo check out your suggestions as there are even a few I haven't heard of! I wish I had said in the video, with the products I can afford and to help in the mean time, what I've found that works best for me is adding as much heat as possible during the shampoo process to get the product in. After my conditioning process I wash out with cool water to help close the pores, trapping in the moisture! Previously within my hair journey, I have tried using a denman brush but found that somehow I lost more hair this way as it sadly thinned it out a trumendous amount...perhaps this works for some but unfortunately not for me, as to why I use a moderately wide tooth comb. Thanks again for the suggestions, always love trying to improve my process and hopefully other will see this and want to improve also! ❤️
Wash your hair only 2 times per week. Also use conditioner. My tip is to apply conditioner then wash the body and then wash conditioner off. That way you waste no time. Also apply a drop of oil on each half after dividing hair in half. You can use Argan oil or use anti frizz serum on damp hair not dripping hair. Everyone is different. This works for me. Also deep condition once a week or as needed. You can use hair masks if you want to.
Same and I have 3c 4a hair, my scalp is so oily and when I relaxed hair last year it made it so much worst😢😢😢. So now I was my hair every three days and if I go the gym I have to wash my hair even it's day 1 hair.
I have VERY thin curly hair. I used to dye it etc and it got thinner so now I only use 100% natural products, 20 min keep in towel, than dry it naturally or on low heat blow dry. I don't think double shampooing, conditioning and pulling is correct! Scrunching is useless if you let it be it will happen on its own.
In my case, that means my hair *loves* to tangle. I can't use anything other than my fingers on my hair without feeling like I'm ripping half my hair out.

If you’re using egg yolks & lukewarm water, you do NOT have LOW porosity hair....even if it’s dyed. Just sayin. The first young lady’s curls could benefit from a microfiber towel & not doing the last pass of product after her hair dried. But! Maybe she wants more frizz for more volume. Honestly I’m not sure what to do with it. I wash it once a week (shampoo, rinse, conditioner, wash body, and then rinse conditioner out) and that’s about it. It’s extremely long and I want to get it cut short but right now it’s just a nuisance. Any tips for how to make my hair look better?
Okay, first learn what type of hair you have. High or low porosity, low porosity means its hair for water to get into your hair. So your hair stays wet for hours. High porosity means water basically goes straight through your hair and it drys very quickly. Normal means well its neither those extreams. This tells you what type of products you should keep an eye out for. Next how thick is a strand of hair? And how much hair do you have? Brad Mondo has a video explaining all this. But this helps you figure out what suggested types of products may be good for your hair and how much of the product to use. Avoid silicones if possible, I do. Cleanse once a month.
Okay so I have curly hair . Most of the Times I Hate my hair and only some times I like it not love but like it . I am still figuring out what my curly haira actually are . So I had this doubt even if my hair is dry my top hair ( like most near to the scalp )get straight a d less and curly than my middle hair. So why is that , what is that , pls help me cause I really want to embrace my curls ..*and the hair straight is around 2-4 cms* * Thanks though 😊 Anddddd... Does the same or similar thing happens with u
I cringed when she put that conditioning mask on her scalp. As a natural hair girl and black girl myself please DON'T PUT CONDITIONER ON THE SCALP. That goes for ANYONE not just us natural hair girls. Conditioner can clog the hair follicle and slow growth. So avoid the scalp as much as possible. Conditioner is meant for the ENDS and close to the root but not on the scalp. It's for the HAIR. Shampoo is for the SCALP. Use oils on your scalp to seal, protect, and moisturize!
Can someone help me with an issue I have with my curly hair? My curls, especially the top ones, don't hold for more than 2 days, they become more wavy than curly although the ones underneath stay curly, I don't know what to do 😢
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T USE A COTTON SHIRT TO DRY UR HAIR IT DRYS IT OUT FASTER (at least if you have curley hair) A towel is a little better but using a silk or satin pillow case or head wrap is the best. Let ur hair air dry and then put it in the wrap :)
i feel like im doing smth wrong washing, conditioning and oiling it on alternate days. To be real, my hair have nice curls when i wash them, the next day its a nest. Also the amount of hair loss. 😫
I had that problem and I found that if I put in a leave conditioner while it's still kinda wet then adding like a mousse or a gel then when everything is dry, you add a bit of oil to your hair and scalp to seal it all in, it's been holding my pattern so nicely. BUT I think the things that's truly changed my hair is wearing a satin bonnet to avoid disrupting my curls and frizz at night. (Also sometimes no matter what you gotta refresh the curls eventually and I really like the cantu curl refresher, super affordable and holds nice)

Most of the Times I Hate my hair and only some times I like it not love but like it . I am still figuring out what my curly haira actually are . So I had this doubt even if my hair is dry my top hair ( like most near to the scalp )get straight a d less and curly than my middle hair. So why is that , what is that , pls help me cause I really want to embrace my curls ..*and the hair straight is around 2-4 cms*
* Thanks though 😊
Anddddd... Does the same or similar thing happens with u
i wash my hair every day.. it’s still curly tho
Any one else cringeing at Pam's routine? Someone show her a video from Manes by Mell 😬
Can someone help me with an issue I have with my curly hair? My curls, especially the top ones, don't hold for more than 2 days, they become more wavy than curly although the ones underneath stay curly, I don't know what to do 😢
SAME OMG.
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T USE A COTTON SHIRT TO DRY UR HAIR IT DRYS IT OUT FASTER (at least if you have curley hair)
A towel is a little better but using a silk or satin pillow case or head wrap is the best. Let ur hair air dry and then put it in the wrap :)
I've always been told that cotton is the best and towels break hair, use a microfiber if ur worried about breakage from cotton
She is so luck her hair drys in like 10 mins mines takes 45 days 😂
i feel like im doing smth wrong washing, conditioning and oiling it on alternate days.

Why am I watching this when I have straight and thick Asian hair?
No wonder her hair is dry, probably has protein overload. What you need is a deep conditioner girl
I was interested in the first girl because we have a similar curl texture....and then she started to twist her curls bit by bit.
Me with my thick long hair: 0_0
Try a denmen brush, my hair is long and I use it all the time since I got it.
Me waiting for my country to pop up👁️👄👁️
I don't understand why people want straight hair....its boring.....curly hair is soooo beautiful...I would kill for curls....
